I watched it. Big kid. I was impressed with his skating ability and shot, but to me, he looked like he was out of position 50% of the time. Great shot from the point and I liked that he was willing to drop the gloves and fight. As big as he is, I thought he would use his size a little better. No much of a hitter in that highlight. However, I think he has great potential considering his size, skating and his reported work ethic. Smiler

From that video, it looked like a lack of work ethic, that might have been just a bad game for him, but you are right, he was out of position a lot and he did get beat a couple of times, but I'm sure he is a good player considering he is a local kid

It looked like those videos were taken from some type of showcase. If you look both teams have the same logo and jersey with the exception of the color. Although he dropped the gloves I don't think the players skated as hard as they would have with their own team?

I'm just guessing because most of those highlight tapes were boring.

The film was taken at the Junior Jamboree in Minnesota. I was able to watch that game in person. It was the "Young Stars" of the USHL. On the handout with the rosters, almost every one of those kids was commited to a top D1 school.

Still a great job by the local kids. They all gave up alot to pursue their dreams. Its not an easy thing. The sacrifices they have made and their families is to be commended. GOod Luck with the next level. When are the rookie /prospect camps for each team?
