Is it just me or does it seem like their roster stays pretty much the same.

Does anyone know if/where any of the players will be playing next year? I know the following players age out:
Anthony Fitti, Wayne Sands, James Cody, Ryan Stern, Joe Marshall, Brant Fisher, and Matt Tendler. Sands leads the team in points with Fitti and Cody just 1 point behind him.

I know Fitti has been on the team for 4 years and I am pretty sure this is Sands and Tendler’s fourth year as well.

I know that the AJHL isn’t much of a feeder league to D1 schools but I noticed that Eric Tuffman is doing pretty well at UMass-Boston which is DIII. Tuffman is leading the team in points (15,13-28). He was a 3 or 4 year Jr. A player for the Little flyers and I believe he led the team in scoring his last 2 years. Also with the success of former players TJ Brennan in the QMJHL and Rocco Carzo the team should be getting more scouts out to their games.

I know last year Bud’s Midget 18 team beat the NY Bobcats AJHL team at the Northwood tournament. It seems as if most top midget teams can beat the AJHL teams so I have a hard time seeing why any player under the age of 19 would opt to play Jr. A if they have the option to play Midget AAA since the district has 6 teams.

I hope this doesn’t sound like I am knocking the Little Flyers program, they have a great feeder teams and are always very good at the Midget 16 level, and Stefan and Jim Watson are outstanding coaches.

There are some coaching changes next season for the Little Flyers. Stephane is stepping aside at the Midget level and will coach the 97 & 98 teams. Jeff Dunn is moving up to coach the Midget 16U National team. Jim Watson will continue to coach the Midget 16U American team. There have been no decisions on Junior coaches for next season. Don't know if Wayne Sands will stay. His son ages out this year.

I believe Guy is going to coach the 94 team. I do not know if this is true or not but I heard that Guy coaches a high school team in New Jersey and there is a NJ rule that a HS coach cannot also be a head coach at the midget level. That could explain it. Perhaps an asst. coach with the midget national? Who knows.
