You said you had seven players, did Pennsbury have their full roster, #1 goalie, first line in tact? Did they come to win the game or did they treat it like a scrimmage, maybe giving third liners a look and maybe some JV kids. I don't know, I wasnt there......but they are definately a top 5 team in AA this year.
To me, everything indicated they were going all out. Their goalie played pretty well if I remember correctly, but we obviously handled them easily. Then again it's hardly fair to judge a school team by a club team, even a talented one like Pennsbury. I'll admit they impressed me to some extent, and definitely deserve to be in the cup over us. I'd say good seed. At Pav, right, our club team, with only 7 players, demolished a team that did "very well" in this tournament yet we wouldn't have won a game in a school tournament. Right. As if we'd ever play a school tournament anyway.

Just to help get the record straight Pennsbury has a team made primarily from their JV team that plays club teams. So the team that you "handled" was not the same Pennsbury that is accurately seeded in the top 3.

That makes more sense then. Despite being a club team with only 7 or 8 skaters, we expected more of a challenge since Pennsbury was suppose to be pretty good. I think it was the only school team we played all year, and we played it with a purely exhibition mindset anyway. Regardless, I'm confident that an 18AA team, ours in particular, would have little problem with any varsity AA team, including Haverford High. Considering our team is comprised of some of the best players from HH without the school baggage (Campli was actually with us last year), I doubt someone could argue with me.
