No, they try to give the higher seeds home ice when possible.

The semi's and the finals are usually pre determined, but the first few rounds they try to accomodate the higher seed.

Again, I'm not sure why Center Ice isn't on the schedule.

I understand. We were new as a school to the Flyers Cup last year and in seeing that each team got a home game in the first couple of rounds we were under the impression that we would get a game at home.

If Center Ice doesn't offer up ice then we cannot do anything about it. It's really no big deal as its the hockey matters not the ice that its played on.

They will be in the Flyers Cup program and in Breakaway Scholastic....both will be out by the 12th.

I will try to post it on the homepage, but I am up to my ears in deadlines right now.

Pennsbury is horrible, I played them with my club team and we had 7 guys and beat them like 8-2 they should not be in the Flyers Cup

well, I've respected everything you've said up until now. I've seen Pennsbury four times this year, if they don't belong in the Flyers Cup, then we shouldnt even have one.

You said you had seven players, did Pennsbury have their full roster, #1 goalie, first line in tact? Did they come to win the game or did they treat it like a scrimmage, maybe giving third liners a look and maybe some JV kids. I don't know, I wasnt there......but they are definately a top 5 team in AA this year.

You are definitly the dumbest kid i know, pennsbury played very well in iceline's x-mass tournament which had some of the best A and AA teams in it, Ridley wouldn't have won one game, and im sure your club team wouldnt have either

Mandell89, you lost all credibilty with that statement about Pennsbury.

Sour grapes is one thing, but c'mon they are a consistent AA power and play a tough regular season and tournament schedule. Ridley would be well served to use them as a model.

pennsbury should not be in it? id stop posting after that statement, because from now on no one will take you seriously.

pennsbury is a very strong aa team. along with haverford high, i see those 2 as the front-runners.

they play 4 aaa teams in their league. no other aa team can say that, and faired well against all, always in the game. their top line is dangerous, they play solid team defense, and have a good goalie. i think they could even be ranked number 2. good team, should be dangerous in the flyers cup.

Ok, Ill be the first one to make a prediction. Its a three peat for haverford high. They are the most talented team in the AA tournament from top to bottom, and there biggest weakness is when there goalie has an off game. However, I know Jason Hazelton very well and he is a very good friend of mine, and I know for a fact he saves his best for the big game. He played really well the last flyers cup, and he will play well this year also and lead them to another flyers cup victory.

I see that Haverford could play 3 SHSHL teams in a row (CR North, CB West, Pennridge). I bet they lose to one of those teams - most likely Pennridge.

3peat for hav high if they use their 2nd line more and let their third line do some grinding. Hazelnut is a strong solid goalie and their defensemen, baker, coyle, lowry and terra can all do some damage. Nobody should beat them
