Not much of a town, but what an awesome little barn. At least it was when I played there in college.

Bring the kids, good seats still remain. Charlestown Chiefs, we're on a roll, we got a lot of heart and we got a lot of soul...

It's an awesome venue. It ain't Vegas, but there's fun to be had. Great little taproom a couple blocks from the arena that has great tacos and suds. Jeff -- help me out on the name.

If the States are in Johnstown, that is news to me, but you know the Villans of Gotham City do not believe in marketing.
The great little hole in the wall in Johnstown is called the Haven and is up the street about 10 blocks near the hospital.
I will confirm the venue soon !

No, this place is between the Holiday Inn and the War Memorial. It's called Scotty's or Woody's or something like that.

Batman, I sure as heck hope they are more organized then two years ago. That was the absolute worst set up/scam I ever seen. We paid something along the lines of $150.00 a night to stay (as oldschool mentioned) in the ghetto. The bellhop told us not to walk down the street ( place called the Hill) because it was the most dangerous part of Pitts. Families felt like they were in a commune. People had to buy all their meals in the hotel which the average cost racked up to about $500 for the weekend ($9.00 for a burger and fries). I will say the rink we backtracked to was nice except the gate was supposed to be $5 and when we arrived it was $7? They only had two people working the snack bar where most people waited 20 minutes in line for a coke. It was just poorly planned. Hopefully they learned something from the way we hosted it in the East last year. Best part was we got to meet some really nice families from the west.

Ah JB the perils of youth.
You actually believe the West was going to keep their promise?
If there's one thing we all can agree upon, it's that the West does what it wants and its wants change like the wind. The only recourse we have is to not play and then who loses?
We pay $7 to get in. We have to buy our own versions of the trophies. We sit in a banquet and listen to them cry about the Penguins leaving Pittsburgh... the list goes on and on.
Johnstown will be very much like Hershey and it's about an hour closer than RMU. So, I guess they'll figure a new and different way to screw us over this year.

This is confirmed that the State Finals will be at the War Memorial on March 29th.
Another place in Johnstown is called Mickey's [scene of the Slapshot Dickey Dunn Scenes]. The food is ok, but the Haven is a better spot.
As far as the accommodations it will most likely be the Holiday Inn, which is alot safer than the downtown Pittsburgh Marriott, which was another money maker for the Villans, who got $ 10 a room for each hotel room sold. They have to pay for the crates they keep the State Championship trophies in when you get to see them for ONE day a year, the other 364 in Catwomans hiedout in the other end of town.
Please make sure that ALL OF YOU understand that the West only includes the Villans, who have NO CLASS and the rest of the 'Concerned Citizens' out here are under the same Communism during 17 weeks of the season. See you all in Johnstown.....and Matt I am working on a ladder for you.....just kidding.....our old Friend Heck has a Skybox in the War Memorial high above the ice !!
