Just curious what 5 varsity teams are in the tournament thus far. I am seriously considering entering.

Ask any good club hockey coach whether or not they see a negative impact on their team when HS hockey starts and they will say yes. It's just bad hockey and it finds it's way into the play of the club teams.
Boraske, you have a pretty good start on the sarcasm, try not to get angry.

Matt,
Just curious, would this tournament be allowed if those new rules (PIAA) were in effect? Wouldn't this be before High School teams would be allowed to practice or play together (aka out of season)?

Good point. I will continue to squeeze my Breakaway! stress ball when browsing these forums. It really helps.

We have interest from the following clubs that may enter multiple teams from varsity to JV. North Penn CB South Methacton
Since most clubs have just begun to practices this week we are now getting several calls a day. This tournament will come together very quickly. If you have a team that is intersted I would suggest contacting Hatfield Ice [215] 997-9797, Fred Koelzer or Face Off [215] 674-1345, Wayne Evans.

I guess I'm a little late on the reply but CB East, North Penn, Methacton, Abington and Pennridge are in the tournament. Being a coach on the CB East team I can say that we used the tournament as a warm-up for the season to get our team gelling early. We also brought as many of our players we mean to have as swing players along to see how they'd do. Pennridge did the same thing. We don't care about winning or losing. We were missing 4 of our returning Varsity players in the game with Pennridge. They were missing a similar number with Cody Lighthart being one of them, very probably their best player. No one on either team cared. Gave the coaches more time to see swing players in game situations. I also coached Midget for the Glaciers for 10 years. During which time I was lucky enough to coach 3 DVHL championship teams. I don't think high school hockey had an ill affect on my club team at all. I was always able to work it out with the high school players in regards to practice vs a game, alternating practices and the like.

Methacton beat CB East last night by the score of 5-3 to win the Tournament. Methacton was cruising with a 4-0 lead mid way through the third period. East scored 3 unanswered goals late in the 3rd to make it exciting. Methacton scored an empty net goal to finish off the game. Like East, Methacton used the tournament to evaluate players and figure out what areas of their game need work.
