Perk. Valley over Henderson, 5-2!!! Can anyone who was there give a narrative description of the game? It must have been tremendous!

It was a good game. Perk came out very stong and scored in the first 30 seconds. Than Henderson came back within 5 mins or so and tied it up. The first ended 1-1, Perk than began to get a few power plays and eventually put one in. Than Henderson came back and tied it again on a great play by Latta. Than Perk again got a few power plays including a coulple 5-3s. They popped in two more goals and one empty net and thats how the game ended. Overall I would say it was a pretty evinly played game, I think Henderson deff had the shot advantage and the even stength play but Perks power play played very well and won it for them. Southerland also played well outside of Latta sniping him from just above the circle low blocker.

I only got a chance to see the Radnor Shanahan due to the 5 OT's (7:15-10:30). It was a great game with obviously two very evenly matched teams, both goal tenders played insane. Looloian for Radnor faced 66 shots while I think Paul Kenney faced about 55. Most of Looloian's shots were all 1st save no rebound while many of Kenny's were lots of scrums in front of the net and making many saves.

Through the entire overtimes the refs were great, called it like a playoff overtime should be, let small things go for both teams. 1st call in overtime was against radnor which was a very obvious trip, (kid going in on a breakaway, radnor D man dives) easy fair call. The next call was also against Radnor which i thought was a little weak and it gave Shanahan a 5-3. Radnor killed the 5-3 well, but with about 4 seconds left in the 2nd peneatly Shanahan got 2 players in front and one took a shot that hit off Looloians helmet than to a Shanahan players stick into the goal. Great game, all the kids were very tired after as both teams basically played 2 lines in all the overtimes.

I understand Sutherland let in 2 goals on 32 shots, so he must have played well. There's not a lot of embarrassment to getting sniped by Latta. Holding Henderson to 2 goals is no small trick. Thanks for the report. It sounds like it was a great game to watch with, I assume, a capacity crowd.
