AAA- don't discount Judge, they look pretty strong and have added a few good players and look very balanced

I think Judge should be very good this year....St. Joe's might be a sleeper at AAA too.

A: Rustin (strong core returning)
Henderson (still have Latta & goaltending)
Strath Haven (improvment on last year)
WC East (defending champs)
Marple-Newtown

AA: Conestoga (strong returning core)
Methacton (goaltending, good core)
CB South (understated, workmanlike & deep)
North Penn (solely based on what I hear)
D'town East (fast, talented, deep)

AAA: Lasalle (will still be good, but not like
last two years)
HGP
Judge
O'Hara
St. Joe's (showed a lot of improvement)
Roman
Malvern (I have a hunch that they will
struggle this year - IMO)

I think Roman will struggle. Lost alot of their top players to graduation and another to NJ Rockets. Tough AAA schedule doesn't help.

Pennsbury should still be pretty strong at AA. Barnes, Sweetland, and Dobzanski return.

CR North picked up a few good players too, and have a good goalie.

For AAA;
Judge wont be as good as people think, although the back end will be really solid. Roman Catholic could be in for a very long season. Ryan should improve alot with Roman B as coach. I think this could be the worst Malvern team this decade, but still should finish over .500. O'Hara could be very good, alot of talent coming back. GA will be improved, still at the bottom though. St Joes only has 1 line, not sure how far that can take you even though Criscuolo and Birmingham are 2 of the best around. Lasalle and HGP lost alot of talent, but still have deep enough programs to have successful season as potential top 4 teams. Bonnor probably wont win a game in AAA action.

Have any of the teams played yet? Or is everyone going by rosters?

Will Roman B control the Ryan circus that everyone talked about last year?

the big question for judge was how to fill Patch's spot after he left.
I think they have and now have two solid lines
hopefully with more balanced scoring. His strength was penalty killing and scoring a ton of SH goals. They won't score as many goals but they will be much improved in their own end and their transition game. The other difference is that most of these kids have been playing over the summer and the spring which they didn't previously. LaSalle will be strong again but I think there will be a dropoff with Ghost. Not sure about Ryan either yet. I do think that Judge will be as good as people might think.
Some of the weaker players on the team were seniors. The players replacing them are faster and talented and played in some varsity games last season.
Saying that Ghost will have a dropoff, they will obviously still be very good and are well coached and play within their system. That is what makes them very difficult to play against. But it makes other teams play up to their level. Should make for an interesting year!

Judge and O'Hara will be close and after that I think it's a crap shoot. I don't think Bonner will be as bad as HGP Fan thinks either.

I don't think Bonner will be that bad either. Last year they always seemed to be missing players at different times of the season.

Not to say that theyll be tops in any league, but look for my sleeper team Radnor to have thier first very competetive season and team since the the years of chris brennan

Id probably rank the teams like this preseason;

Lasalle
Ohara
Judge
HGP
Ryan
Malvern
The Prep
GA
Roman
Bonner

Yea, maybe saying Bonnor wont win a game is a little harsh. Theyve always been one of the bottom teams, I dont see any reason why that would change.

Is Provenzano going to be Ohara's goalie this year?

With Lasalle coming back to the pack, there's probably teams at A and AA this year that could compete for the AAA championship.

Compete for the AAA championship? That's a bold prediction. There are some good AA and A teams in the Suburban and ICSHL but how would they fare if they had to play the "AAA" teams twice a year like this year? I think that is a fair question.

It wasn't a prediction, you can't predict a hypothetical situation. The only AAA team last year that stood out from the top A and AA teams was Lasalle and like I said, they have come back to the pack.
