A more accurate statement would be West Chester Henderson is the only West Chester team....not going to Flyers Cup this year. Cant you just give Rustin the moment without a dig.

Well - great win for Rustin, I was also at the game. They had 42 or more shots to PV's 10. PV's goalie was on his A game. So were the Rustin offense. I think its great they are going to the finals. I am a parent on the other team goingto the finals so your comment is doublely offensive this evening but typical of your syle of lately.

Can you read bro? The guy even said he was rooting for Rustin to win. It was a joke based in fact not a dig, and he said it after he said they played a good game. Somebody needs a Valume or something.

I was shocked by the lifelessness of PV tonight. I thought a game of this magnitude and possibly the opportunity for another shot at East would have been enough to play an emotional fast paced game. Not to pile on them when they go down, but when you play at such a high level all year and then can't make simple tape to tape passes in open ice.... just baffling!

Kudos to Rustin for playing an excellent defensive game (allowing only 10 shots to that team is impressive), but I don't think they got PV's best effort tonight for some reason. They showed no emotion, weren't very physical nor even took the occassional over the top roughing penalty.

I just thought it was a very strange game for them. They weren't very consistent all FC, but I guess they peaked in their victory over Henderson in the ICSHL playoffs and couldn't bring it back to that level?

Congratulations to Rustin on their victory over PV. I pretty much agree with most everything Bad Johnny had to say. The one bright spot for PV was goaltender Rob Sutherland, who stood on his head, allowing 3 goals on 42 shots. He is a big-game player who has proved that time after time this season.
Bad Johnny put it well. PV was lifeless. They ended the season and the ICSHL play-offs with big wins over Methacton, Conestoga, Henderson...then came out flat against East in the ICSHL final. Couldn't light a fire in the early rounds of the FC, needing OT in both early wins. They were a 5-goals per game offense throughout most if not all of the regular season, but, after defeating Henderson in the ICSHL play-offs, that offense just sputtered. And when that happens to a predominantly offensively-minded team, even the finest goaltending will only win a certain number of games before losing one. PV got past the first two (actually three, as they had a bye in the first) rounds, but no team will win when they are out-shot 42-10, as PV was by Rustin tonight.
Again, congratulations to Rustin on this victory, which they earned. Congratulations also to the players from Perkiomen Valley. They had a great run this year, played some exciting hockey games, improved over their performance of last year, and showed class and grace in both victory and defeat all season. And they made it to the Flyers Cup semi-finals.

and with east? i believe our mailing address says west chester too? just because we are 100 yards outside of the borough means we arnt a west chester team? just because henderson was founded first doesnt mean its the only west chester school, the schools that were founded around the original west chester high school were to aid the people of west chester for more room for education in their city, still the same towns people, different buildings
