What 9th graders have made an impact so far, or will make an impact by the end of the season?
Brendan Bradley - Holy Ghost Nick Cruice - Lasalle Bobby Tait - GA Ryan Ferrill - Haverford High Matt Taxin - Marple-Newtown Paul Sjostrom - St Joes Prep Derek Rahme - Methacton
Bradley will probably have the biggest impact. I don't see Cruice as a real difference maker since LaSalle is so deep and Wally does not historically use freshman besides the Kolarik kids.
Not True.....Denczi, Gatison, Nattachione, Evan and Williams (Just to name a few) all saw regular shifts as freshman for LaSalle over the past few years.

cruice is a very nice addition to lasalle. he is a regular on the third line and has contributed with strong play even tonight against a very big and fast delbarton squad. giglotti, schmidt tyson schnupp and varley are a few more that wally has used as freshman. to wally the only thing that matters are your level of play and your commitment to compete for the team.

I thought Cruice had a nice game for La Salle last night - he was the victim of a ticky tack hooking call in the third, but played well - seems like the protoypical La Salle player as of late - not much size but lots of speed, never stops, chases the puck well.
i would like to add a defensemen from great valley. tom diginto taking every other shift in the chesmont and never backs down. while having a really tough season as a team tom keeps playing each shift like it is the first of the game.
Originally posted by bcprospect: yea i must agree on the bradley and bowman case.their both strong hockey players with plenty of AAA experience.bowman is a strong fast defense men where bradley is a smart skilled forward.also nick cruice is another great player.i havent had much time to see him in highschool but ive seen some of his comcast gammes and is quit a good hockey player.another strong component i thing hgp has is future goalie jake purnell. although hes not on varsity this year, ive seen and heard great things about him.so, in this case i think the bowman, bradley, and purnell treo will be a great force in the following years
Jake Purnell is very good. He didnt start on varsity, but has and will continue to see more time and get more opportunities. Hes the best goalie at HGP now, hes just young, but hes really had alot of success lately. Hes going to be a very good one. Bradley, Bowman, and Purnell combined with some other current freshman, as well as the 8th graders coming in (deeper and probably more talented then this years freshmen), will give HGP an extremely talented core to build upon.
Kyle McKenzi is one of the better freshman from Garnet considering their sturggling a little bit he may not have been noticed as much. I also think Taxin from Marple has been a nig help for their defensive core.
Prucenal from WC East, he has been pulled up a handfull of times for east and continues to score on varsity goalies, very smart player and is only in JV to gain high school experience, by the words of the coach
