First of all dont tell me i played one of the more important games of my high school career. I believe playoffs and flyers cup are way above that, so thats liek the 20th most important game. Second of all, I think both Rich and Vince are good playes, and Vince played really well friday night, and im sorry rich is hurt. I dont know who is the better duo, but i do know that they have been great for the central league. There emergence as realy helped brign some of the stars back in the Central league, when there didnt seem to be that many this year. Anyway, like i said before, stoga, good luck in the playoffs.

Well, if all goes well this whole argument will be put to rest Tuesday night March 6th at 8:45 if Lower Merion can take care of Radnor.

If it goes down it will be a put up or shut up event with the winner having all the bragging right!

This topic's a little depressing.

How can this forum allow a topic that was created solely for bashing other players? I thought this was a forum for discussion of high school hockey, not a place where a couple of egotistical kids with something to prove could come to piss and moan. Someone said something about trash talking, but there's a difference between trash talking and personal insults.

Anyway, I just played an entire season with Lundy, and I can tell you he's a solid player who works his ass off every game, and he's probably the best finisher I've ever played with. I can't speak for the skills of these Stoga kids, but I've heard of them and lost to their team 6-1, so I'm sure they're good enough. Does it matter whose better? Really, who cares? You're all good players, but Lundy and Wolff are graduating so why bother comparing? No one cares, let the game speak for itself.

"23" and "Pavelich" why are you so against Lundy and Wolf? I don't understand, all four of you are good hockey players, but I also played with Lundy and Wolf in club this year and I can vouch with Boraske that Lundy is one of the best finishers around and Wolf is the playmaker. You and your brother are prob. the same way, but in the game where I played you, the only thing you guys seem to have over Lundy is speed. You give any half decent player your speed, and they can score too, stop the stupid feud of who is better because frankly, no one cares and good luck in nationals with the Flyers

I don't know much about the PA teams, but from this thread it is obvious that Aces has much more maturity & class than 23 & Pavelich. But I decided to research Mr 23s claims and checked the AYHL stats - don't see any Masciantonio making an impact for the Jr. Flyer's team. Maybe you should have played U16.

And being a sophmore scoring sensation for a high school team is no unique thing. Matt McDonald is a sophmore and won the scoring title in the SJHSHL this year. He had something like 61 points in 18 games (server is down so couldn't check)

Hawks 18AA. Lundy had 25 goals, 20 assists across 26 games. That's 45 points, almost 2 a game. (25+20 / 26, in case you're wondering) Granted DVHL isn't as high a level as whatever you're playing, but it's still competitive hockey. I believe we knocked off a few AAA teams this year as well.

And SJ Fan, we know. Notice how many people have taken an interest in this topic only to back up and defend Lundy and Wolff. The Lower Merion kids have been a staple of classy hockey around here, and this silly personal attack was completely unfounded, especially towards the end of their HS hockey careers.
