I know Perk Valley is up and coming but nothing to aganist them but i don't think anyone outside of the PV club sees this as a huge game. Mavlern isn't very strong and AAA-A games are never really huge. I hope Perk Valley does win but not sure if its likley. (FYI I am saying this based on seeing PV play last year and mavlern last year and comparing the rosters of this year)

Wow! Perkiomen Valley scores on a third period power play to tie AAA Malvern Prep 2-2.

I didn't see the game....I'm sure we will get some details from the PV contingent.

We've got 8 sophomores on the team... sometimes it takes time for a team with this much turn around to gell.

Also, the games we have lost have been agaist pretty decent teams (i.e Souderton, CR South, Pennsbury and Roman).

Lower Dauphin 4
Hershey 3

The better team won. Hershey drops to 0-2 on the season.

True...some good teams....I didn't analize the schedule before making the comment, my apologies.

It was a great game back and forth, they probably controlled most of the play, but Charlie Johnson absolutely played out of his mind...without him we had no chance to hang with them. Every one of their lines could fly and it was a big transition from some of our league games. We actually had 1-0 lead and then gave up two PP goals in the 2nd which held until about 3 minutes to go in the third when we got the game-tying goal. It really had a big game environment with both stands pretty much full and it was something that PV Hockey has been working towards for years now.

Congrats....this should boost PV in next month's rankings, as long as you don't have a "let down" in the next few games.

From what i have heard from people at the game holy ghost was very unprepared to play neshaminy and were missing a couple players including their starting goalie and that malvern was missing 4 kids against pv. Sometimes teams just have off nights too.
