To Help the Ben Stear Foundation, Breakaway is offering a full page player profile to the highest bidder...all proceeds going to the Ben Stear foundation.

The idea hit me as many people have approached me to do a story/profile on their kid, nephew, bosses kid for brownie points, what have you :-)

I have routinely turned people down as it just seems to be a gratuitis request to do a profile on your own kid (It's usually from a friend of mine, mind you)

In light of the current situation, we will take this oppurtunity to auction off a full page in Breakaway. in which we will write a story and use a picture of the player of choice from the highest bidder. The player can be a mite, squirt, midget, men's league player....whatever....it's the winner of the auctions choice.

PLEASE do not bid on this forum, the auction will be a part of the benefit held for Ben.

And I do not garuntee that NCAA scouts will come and see your child after reading the article :-)
