methacton had a really slow start. they were losing battles for the pucks, all the little things. maybe if they had an extra day in between they would have won, but it was a good showing by the 12 seed methacton

actually i remember the shots being 23-23 when the score was 2-2..then it was 3-2..and after that the game was over..that was actually our goalies best game..and at one point cherokee missed about 3 open netters and could have been up 4-1..but coulda woulda shoulda..they didnt and thats been the story with this team all year long...nothing changed..not taking anything away from cb west they deserved the win..you jump all over me for saying it was a good game

Since you said you haven't seen Justin play I will come to his defense. He is a senior and his teams leading scorer. I would imange Cherokee would have played a different game had he played. I don't know if the outcome would have been different but i know its tough to go into a big game down your top scoerer and a senior, i am not sure if Justin is a captain or not but reguardless in most cases younger players look up to seniors for thier leadership and expeirence in big games. So i am sure Cherokee's moral was lower that usual which COULD have effected the way they played. I say COULD in call caps because its what i am assuming.

The CB West HH game was HH 4 West 3. Not 5-4

For a team with only 4 seniors..noone gave them any credit for making it as far as they did. Great team effort. And the top 2 scorers in the SHSHL LeClair and Defelice (173 points between them) will both return for their senior year next season! Can't wait! Great job West!!!!

I would think CB West's DeFelice returning would depend on whether he ends up with Tri State Jr B next year or move on to a higher program out of the area. Didn't he have an opportunity in Syracuse this year that he turned down to stay at home????

Yes...
Both LeClair and Defelice have had offers to play out of State.
LeClair will be staying next year..and playing Juniors. Defelice from what I was told wants to stay local again next year. He is not 100% sure either way. Hopefully the nucleus of the West team will return.
LOL..season just ended last night and already talking about NEXT YEAR! Gotta love this game!
