I confirmed info for Slanderous posts. For someone to incinuate that I would do the same because of a post that said Reago outcoached Haas is insulting and just stirring the pot. If anyone has a problem with what I did, feel free to sign off and stay away....I won't be offended.

its making an assesment... why not stir the pot? if you dont its contents may become, i dont know, bored? but any way i dont see much wrong in critizing a coach he is a grown man and can take what is thrown his way, espcially on a message board

in another post i made mention of the weakness in coaching as a deterrrant for high level boys to remain in the area to play. after watching the poor coaching jobs exhibited by the cbsouth, crnorth and np coach, my point has been made. not to take anything away from pennridge, but to allow a team with only three studs and 4 other serviceable skaters to beat you, is regrettable. last night, as in the other games , there seem to be no plan, nor any adjustment to the situation other than to allow pennridge to slow the game down. as long asthis situation remains, high school hockey will continue to languish behind club hockey and other sports.
smart enough to realize that i am not a hockey coach, coached football long enugh to realize a team with a plan and one without one. did you see the games? what are your thoughts? do you believe any of these teams handled pennridge the correct way?
I wasn't at any of Pennridge's FC games. However the team I coach has played all of these teams not only this years but for the past several and I am not so sure that all 3 teams have the necessary skill sets to beat what Pennridge threw at them.
I find it awful easy for a parent who isn't privy to what the coach is telling his players to come on a site and say that they are what is holding high school hockey back. To be frank judging by precious comments I would have been shocked if you actually coached the sport.
did you see the other games to which i am referring? both crnorth and cb south had the skaters and the depth to play a differnt style that could challenge pennridge. however, i can understand your concern that i do not coach the sport but after watching enough high school, club junior andprep school hockey i feel confident that the coaching is on the whole better in these other areas. i am not saying that these men do not provide a valuable service. they do!!!! the aforementined post was a discissin on how to make high school hockey better and keep kids at home. this was not the place to put this comment and for that iapologize.
I said they I didn't see any of the games that Pennridge played in the Flyer's Cup. To put the losses all on coaching is an overstatement. Again none of us know what the coaches were instructing the kids to do or not do.

i did not say i put all the responsibility on the coaches. i simply made the point that none of the teams seemed prepared to handle what pennridge threw at them and that none of them made adjustments during the game. for me that responsibility lies on the coach. you have the right to disagree with my asessment but i do think it would be helpful to actually have seen the games in question in order to form an accurate opinion.
All this talk about adjustments and nothing about goaltending? 3 Pennridge goals were iffy at best, including a weak one thru the 5-hole in the 1st and a blooper over the glove in the 2nd. But they still count just the same. And no mention of an incredible effort by a Pennridge defensemen in the 2nd on a NP breakaway. NP player does not get a shot off because of the perfect, and legal, use of the stick by the Pennridge defenseman.
uhaul, you are right to mention all these plays. most suprising was the play of th pennridge goalie who had an outstanding game. kudos to pennridge and good luck on saturday.

He had a heck of a time controlling rebounds last night. That puck can do funny things out there.
