I am having second thoughts on Mardinly. He had a great sophomore season and was Goalie of the Year...he then went away to NSA and came back and had an OK senior season. Perez, while never winning Goalie of the year, was more consistant and had a very solid HS Career spanning more than just one season. So....since this list is unofficial, I reserve the right to change my mind :-) Perez belongs on there over Mardinly.....sorry Jason.

I agree with Matt’s list except for I was surprised to see Tim McGarry on first team over Wochtl or Kentworthly. Also I am very biased I would switch Chris Brennan and Brian O’Neill but it’s hard to argue with the two-time player of the year. Funny thing is most people you talk to about John and Chris Brennan will say that Chris was a better hockey player but John was more feared, (also I guess the 100 point season helps Johns argument)

Mcgarry is the only Two time defenseman of the year and the only D-Man to win player of the year. (O'neill played D his Junior year, but really was a forward moving back to help his team)
Chris was a great player, no doubt, He did some things better than John....But John was more dominating on the ice. Chris was a physical player, but John would put a hurting on people. Of every player on the list, if I could choose one player to have the puck on his stick in the last 20 seconds of a tie game.....It would be John Brennan.

Tangradi was in the top ten in the league in scoring(goals) his freshmen year. Sophmore year he finished one point behind Aldinger and few more behind Mantz. Aldinger, Mantz, and Piotowitz played together both years. Tangradi played almost alone and his stats were similar as a younger player. He got almost no powerplay time as those 3 were usually out there the entire power play. Maybe not one of the best of all time but certainly underrated. He would be a senior this year had he stayed.

Tangradi would have been a senior last season. His sophomore season he had 5 goals and 5 assits in 10 games. His 10 total points in AAA play ranked him tied for #24 in points for the AAA league. I don't think he was under rated, he just wasnt the standout player back then that he has become.

i saw him play for 2 years here. he wasnt underrated, and he didnt under the radar, he just wasnt that good. there were many players his age that were alot better then him. he was a big kid that didnt use his size, had heavy feet, and had to grow into his body. once that happened about 2 years ago, he really started to develope. not knocking him, because hes obviously turned into a very good player, but during his time here he wasnt a standout. i could be wrong but i think the spring before he went to ws, he didnt make bud's team.
Does anyone know what happened to Brandon Snee? I know he played for Ryan then transferred to the Hill School. I know he played 4 years of D-1 at Union College and was drafted by the New York Rangers. I just checked the Rangers web site and he isn't even listed on there minor league teams.
