Yes - good games at Voorhees last night. Battle for first place on one rink and battle for last place on the other. Still, well-matched teams on both sides.

Just a little thing - I know you were playing in the game Justin and probably should know how the scoring went, but when I got there the scoreboard said the visitors (WT) were up 1-0. Then you guys went up 3-1 and stayed ahead most of the game but Township battled back to win. I'll have to check that when the recap is posted on the stat site.

Battle for last place (10th in standings) went to Cherry Hill East who lost 4-2 to Rancocas Valley (who will now be in 8th place, jumping over Eastern). It was a close game - last goal was an open netter.

Eastern earlier in the night lost to Clearview - who now has 2 wins in a row and will face their big rivals Washington Township on Friday. Clearview tied undefeated Township in their last meeting.

PV squeeked by Springford 2-1. I'll have to talk to pvhockey77's father to find out the details. Anyone know how the LaSalle-Holy Ghost game went?

LaSalle won 5-1, outshot HGP 38-14. LaSalle spent most of the time shorthanded(about 18 penalties), some questionable calls by the refs.

A lot of the La Salle-Ghost game was played 5-on-3.

Wally had a heated exchange with one of the refs in the first period....you don't see that too often from him.

Refs were, how do I put this, horrible! Most of the game LaSalle was shorthanded and at least 5-6 times HGP had 5 on 3. I think Wally has to sit next game along with adam berkle(scoresheet says 5 penalties but he only received 4).

I saw the game, I won't say that the refs had their best game.

I'm guessing if Berkle had four penalties, La Salle could appeal his suspension.

Yeah Wally is a pretty calm guy usaully

Where was the game played.

It seems like HGP was the 2nd strongest team in AAA so it doesn't look like it will be quiet as close in that catagory as last year come March.

The game was a lot closer then the score makes it out to be. LaSalle played well and so did holy ghost except for about a 4 minute span of time.

A game to watch out for this week is Haverford High VS. Conestoga tomorrow night (Friday the 8th), 7:30 @ iceline. Haverford has been pretty good so far, and thier only loss was a bit of suprising 2-1 loss to Lower Merion. Conestoga's only really close game was a 2-2 tie with Radnor. They won most of thier other games in a convincing manner. This should be a good matchup and a good game.
