refs made some questionable calls in pv's favor in this one.. including kicking out marples best defenseman.. which made marple down 2 of their top defenseman fontonant and taxin and missing one of their leading scorers johnson... marple played their hearts out

also a very questionable call with 3 minutes left in the game marple is winning 3-2 and they call a weak tripping penalty?

whatever.. S*it happens

Just curious, if Haverford was playing in the time slot of MN/Perk game would Ferrell have kept his son out of a Qfinal Flyers Cup game prior to his own Jr. Flyer game like he did with M. Taxin.

What more can you ask for.

Strath Haven vs. Shawnee was a great game. Shawnee led thru most of the game. Both goalies played very well. Strath Haven tied the game with about 6 minutes left to send it to overtime. Shawnee killed off a questionable penalty at the start of OT and scored with about 3 minutes left in OT. It was one best HS games I have seen in along time.

yea they pretty much did.. i really puts a damper on your last game in your senior year

yea....i dont understand how you can give a 2 and 10 on a hooking call. Which is what happened when D'Urbano was slashed blatently in the 2nd period.

In the srath haven game against shawnee the refs were terrible. They were calling questionable penalties(strath haven had like 6 power plays to shawnee only having 1). They missed obvious offsides and they wouldn't call icing against strath haven.They waved off every icing and if shawnee dumped it in the zone they would call icing even if a strath haven player tried to play it...Besides that the game was great. Both teams played their hearts out...It was very entertaining

Marple played outstanding; Taxin played the best game I have seen him play. Ref’s made some questionable calls. The game misconduct to Fointon was not a good call; I think it should have been a 2 and 10. I also agree that it was a weak tripping call. Congrands to Marple played better than I expected.

Hershey/Rustin- Great game, most of the goals were saved that bounced off the goalies and went in. Neither goalie played outstanding but Tyler Lewis for Hershey looked great, very solid all around player.

Henderson/East
Not sure how Henderson didn’t go on a 5 on 4 after an East player ran Mattern. Also didn’t see what Cottle did to deserved a 10 minute misconduct, I am pretty sure he was the only player in the scrum afterwards that got a 2 and 10. Although it’s very good to protect your goalie I think it was of poor judgment for Latta and Cottle to get involved in the scrum. Also think the refs missed a call on a knee trip on Cottle late in the game, Mattern also hasn’t played as well this year as he did in the flyers cup last year but still made a lot of nice saves. I think Henderson kicked themselves in the foot by riding their 1st line in the last five minutes. However WC East played outstanding and earned this victory, they have really heated up in the past few weeks. Donzanti played outstanding making lots of saves on Henderson’s top line. Lamont also looked great tonight and got a hat trick, the 3rd goal came on an empty net.
