Alright, we made it through day two without any hacks. (that issue should be resolved going forward) In the lead are: Jigga Beef and I Cant Lose with 10 points each. There are a slew of other players right on their heels with 9 points each including myself (expect a fade shortly) and last season's winner, Special Player.

The idea of a perfect pool (which has yet to be done) is out the window already as our co-leaders both missed on two games tonight. Everyone else has obviously missed more, but it goes to show just how difficult this tournament is to handicap.

Seems I jumped the gun on touting those at the top of the leaderboard. After adding the results from the Judge/Salesianum game, 3 other players joined the "elite".

Only 1 game tonight, Rock North vs. Hempfield. with the Rock win, the top of the leaderboard only makes a slight change with I Cant Lose picking Hempfield and dropping out of the top 5. Things are still extremely tight all around though.

Now that we have the foul weather out of the way, we can get back to some hockey. Three make-up games today and with the wins by Perkiomen Valley, Conestoga and Malvern Prep Jigga Beef maintains his slim lead with 21 points.

Elvis has not left the building just yet. He and Hockey81 are hot on his heels, tied for 3rd with 20 points each. By the end of Monday night we will have separated the men from the boys with 12 games on tap in addition to the Pennsbury vs. Cumberland Valley game on Sunday afternoon.

The lone Sunday game is in and there is no significant change on the leaderboard. Jigga Beef still hold the slim one point lead with 22 points.

The games to watch from a pool standpoint on Monday are:
AA: CB West (70%) vs. Cherokee (30%)
AA: Rock South (65%) vs. Dtown West (35%)
A: Interboro (59%) vs. Upper Dublin (42%)

An upset or two going forward could put Jigga Beef back on his heels a little bit.

Didn't Upper Dublin already beat Interboro?

Yes, I just realized the error of my ways. Apparently my brain is a round behind everyone else at the single A level.

Luber and i are tied...

with "Elvis" one point back

Looks like the only place we differ is that i have Washington Township beating Pennsburry to get to the "AA" final and you have Pensbury beating Township..That may be the deciding game

Despite my previous attempts at humility, it seems that somehow I climbed back into this thing. Sitting at the top of the leaderboard remains Jigga Beef, joined by your's truly Luber25.

The tie between Jigga and myself will be broken tomorrow night and it will not be possible for one of us to catch the other. Aside from the Ghost/Ryan game, the remainder of our picks are identical.

That is not to say this is a two horse race by any stretch. Elvis, just one point back, has Conestoga winning it all. There are a slew of people at 33 points, many of whom have predicted more upsets than the current top 3.

The win by Holy Ghost settled the tie between Jigga Beef and I tonight (I have officially been eliminated from contention, I cannot pass Jigga Beef!) but it was not enough to hold off Elvis who claimed the lead late into this years pool.

Despite the lead, things are very much up in the air at this point. It looks like the AA bracket will be the deciding factor.

Is there a problem with the pool? I tried to check the leader board and it would not come up. I'm getting an error 404 when I click on that link or the users picks link.

Two of the best games of the tournament took place last night, including the biggest upset of the year, but there was no corresponding upset in the pool! Everyone picked LaSalle to win last night.

Jigga Beef still holds a two point lead but there are still several people within striking distance. The AAA final will have no bearing on the pool since not a single person picked either O'Hara or Holy Ghost.

"The AAA final will have no bearing on the pool since not a single person picked either O'Hara or Holy Ghost."

That shows how smart we all are.

Upsets happen, that's why they play the games.

La Salle went undefeated, won the Maadville tourney, was #1 in Breakaway all year, was touted as the best team in the State by PAHockey, they beat Ghost in the regular season.....I'm not saying Ghost is a bad team, but why would ANYONE have picked against La Salle?
