Actually the score was 13 - 3. Rock took mercy in the 3rd period and dumped the puck into the corners. Class act by them. They could have scored 20. Interestingly, none of their players had a hat trick.

A lot of fallout resulted from the decision to play it that way.

Thanks for the compliment 98. I don't know if we would have won, but I think we'd have given them a run for their money after we beat Tennent 2 - 1 the night before.

That's a shame, as no one wants to play without a goalie or against a team without one. Don't know why there would be fallout, as USA Hockey does allow you to play without a goalie, and it would be a shame to pay for ice & refs and then forfieting. At least it was icetime. Sounds like both teams coaches understood the spirit of the situation - and that's a good thing.

I didn't know Buggy was hurting. You wouldn't know it from watching him play. Seems like we are always short players. Shawn Williams is out with mono, so we only have one goalie. Will Vaeth, another freshman looked like he was going to be real good but only played one period before he broke his wrist. Hopefully he will back around Christmas.

Some parents were really mad, others understood. I don't want to go into too much detail because it's a really sore subject and we need to move on.
