A Really Big Game nextweek Henderson v Rustin...That should be Ice Line at its' best with two local schools, another big rivalry. The game is at prime time on rink 1. There could be a ton of students there, like the Kennett-Henderson Flyers Cup Final. Only time will tell.

Yea the Marple vs. LM game should be a good one. I heard LM wasn't too stellar in their season opener, but now that our soccer season has concluded, we have some key players back like senior Johnny Fleisher and sophomore Jordan Wolf.
Marple has always been tough too/ D'urbano is nasty.

The Fords v. Stoga game is gonna be a good one. I played Haberle last night and he wasn't that effective, but he's been tearing up HS so it'll be close. They were 1-1 last year, and the Fords' win was very decisive. Stoga is missing a top D-man on Friday, which hurts them a lot against an offensive powerhouse. The Fords barely beat Methacton, even playing the Warriors' backup goalie. Stoga is off to a 3-0 start, and I give them the nod, but it'll be a one goal game.

Looking at matchups that could already affect teams seasons; Sun Valley vs Boyertown two teams that could be on the flyer's cup bubble at the end of the season. Everyone looks at powerhouses, granted henderson vs rustin will definatally be the game of the week and stoga HH will be an amazing game but its still too early to count those as pivitol games for them they know what they can do and are already favored to get to the cup. SV and Boyertown can get a lot of momentum out of a win or lose it alltogheter with a loss these two teams need the momentum if they want to compete with teams like marple (SV's next game, chi dropped out of thanksgiving game,) that are in the upper tier. Two teams that are generally regarded as out now but are fighting to get in the field of 20 and may later need that extra push over one another to get in. They however are still going to need wins over quality opposition and both already have some; Bovertown 7 Garnet Valley 6 and Sun Valley tied Great Valley
Stoga hockey are you referring to the Hawks Predators game because if you are, Haberle was very effective putting in the game winner and had one goal disallowed because of horrible officiating and you know it
I am referring to that game, and if you watched it, yes, the refs were bad, agreed. The goal called off was total BS, but the winning goal (not to mention the call that led to the PP) was whistled way before the puck was in and a horrible call. Either way, I couldn't believe that the Hawks (who are stacked) did not destroy the Predators, the fact that it came down to bad refs was very surprising. Both teams were screwed by them, but I stand by my statement that Haberle didn't produce as much as I expected him to.

First of all, I play with Haberle on the Hawks and granted we are stacked and should have smoked the Predators but how can you say the refs blew it for us? We maybe had one power play the entire game compared to your 5 or 6. The puck was in the net for 3 or 4 seconds before the whistle blew
stop fighting over a stupid AA game in the the high school hockey thread. And i really hope that stoga wins since haverford lost more (to graduation) than stoga did

haverford high indeed beat methacton who had there backup goalie but haverford also had there backup in net for the frist three games of the season do to a injured hazelton.Haeberle is one of the best high school players in the league. He will make most of the goalies in the league look dumb. Stoga beat garnet valley 4-2 but garnet valley played with there backup goalie in net and was missing there top scoring forward. As for the hawks midget18uaa team they are dirty. They beat the top two or what was said to be the top 2 teams in the nation. one being the blast and the other being the nj jaguars. the stoga vrs haverford game will come down to goaltending ill say haverford 3 to 2 .
