Well you damn well know i'll have the beer, but it wouldnt be very fair to KoolAid if we were drinking it after the first game while we watched his game
5-2 Holy Ghost beats Ryan. Pretty flat game for the first period. Holy Ghost scored 5 power play goals. Definitely the deciding factor in this one. Holy Ghost power play looked sharp, i think they had 7 or 8 chances and scored on 5 of them, some real nice give an go passing. Played without Robby Hoffman and Pauly Burns due to injury, so that hurt.
Roman 5 Judge0 roman only had 11 skaters. Was nasty with Juge players trying to take out Fynes the goalie 2 times once in the corner....both players got tossed and another game...somebody spit in mcstravics face. Thers a few ....not all classless hockey players on that team.
Mad I could not make it up to Grundy tonight for the festivites but I heard the Ryan/HGP game was a good one. Who did all the scoring? Olieveri/Seravlli saga continue? Those two seem to bring out the best in each other. What about this roman game, seemed like it was really tilted toward roman...i also heard the pennsbury game was very uneventful
Judge-Roman game was not really as lopsided as the score, in my opinion. It was only 1-0 after 2 periods. The difference in the game was goaltending. Judge was outshooting Roman and keeping the puck in Roman's end for most of the 2nd and beginning of the 3rd period, but Roman put their chances in the net in the third and Judge could not get by Roman's excellent goaltending. It was 3-0 when the game took an ugly turn. Halfway through the third period, the game got out of control. A Judge player collided, basically body checked Roman's goalie, when the puck popped up in the air in front of the net. Chaos ensued on the ice with all 10 players engaging in fighting. The refs tossed the goalie-checker as well as another Judge player who came in late to the fight. No Roman players were ejected, which surprised me. Judge was also assessed a 4 minute double minor and Roman scored their 4th and 5th goals on the power plays making it 5-0.
This game was ugly. There is no real excuse for players going after goalies, or fighting in general in High School hockey. But to call Judge players classless and leave Roman out of it altogether is foolish. Both teams were guilty in this game. Maybe one more than the other, but definitely both. I didn't see anyone spit in McStravick's face, and I don't doubt that it happened, but it wasn't like he was acting like a gentleman on the ice either (though i did admire the talent that it took for him to do the double axel in front of the judge student section after the 4th goal. i thought he was going to land it, but he lost an edge on the dismount, and wiped out in front of the judge bench- The East German judge did not look on this favorably).
Either way, I don't think these teams will be acting this "classless" again, because both coaching staffs seemed absolutely furious with their own teams after the game. I look forward to the next game between these teams which will count for AAA.

The Roman parent falsely accused of calling kids scumbags I saw hiding iin the lobby right in the middle of judge parents and about 10 judge football players who bye the way were calling roman players every name in the book. All Mc Stracick did was shut those fools up. But hey its all fun. Judge parents were calling for there kids to take someones head off. And Jimmy18 check the scoresheet on lower bucks one roman player was ejected but hey the truth isn't important. And while we are talking about the truth not one roman player was yelled at by the coach cause they did what they had to do...protect their goalie and good friend from from cheap shot players who went after him not once but twice the second comming 10 seconds in the game when he went in the corner to clear a puck and the judge player took his legs out. But one thing is the truth........Roman's goalie played great and proved why he was #1 last year and this year. At the rink........one question.......how could the refs decided the outcome if you admitted that judge ran the goalie? Sounds like roman decided the game by making them pay. Thats what the better team does!
