I can only speculate, but I'd guess Colbert somehow stole the show. I'll get more details from D'Urbano if I get a chance.

Tis the season for upsets, eh fellows? Ridley plays Haverford High in a best of three for the EHSHL AA Championship, starting Monday 3rd, if anyone is interested.

Hey Boraske, do you know anything about the O'Hara v. Carrol game? Why was that played? It doesn't seem like they will have any more playoff games for AAA and how did carrol get lumped up into that group?

Marple lost for the same reason most favorites lose games. They played most of the game without a sense of urgency. They appeared to believe that they could turn it on at anytime. Interboro kept the score close. Colbert was good but there were really no unbelievable saves. A few shots hit posts and crossbars but most of the shots were bad angle or above the circle and no one in front for rebounds.

Marple was leading 1-0 going into the third. A power play goal (off a rebound into the slot) tied the game. Little more than 4 minutes left Interboro forward was left alone in the slot. A couple of Marple players watched but did not challenge and Interboro had the lead. Marple pulls their goalie with 1 minute left. Off the face-off Marple crashes the net and D'Urbano scores.

Game goes into a 10 minute overtime. Marple gets a power play early. They hit one post but no score. With less than 2 minutes left D'Urbano is called for a penalty in the offensive zone and Interboro ices the puck. Face off in Marple end. Off the face-off the puck hits a skate and redirected into the net. Let a team stay close you can lose on freak goals. Marple has to win 4 straight to win the Eastern A and regain some footing for the FC.

First off, who was the knucklehead that drew all the playoff plans up? why would you put someone like Carroll in the AAA playoffs, then do the same with Strath Haven playing Salesianum and Malvern vs Kennett. who came up with this? Also, St Joes Prep beat Bonner so Carroll plays Bonner and Ohara plays St Joes.

I have no idea how or why Carroll floated up to the AAA playoffs when 99% of the Eastern AA and A teams 10 goaled them, or came close to it.

That would be 2 different sets of knuckleheads, since its 2 different leagues' playoff formats.

Pretty surprised by Interboro's loss. I think Marple should now take the league easily.

Boraske33 i was wondering who scored the goals in the first interboro vs. marple playoff game and in the ridly vs. haverford school game. For some reason the EHSHL website does not have the scoresheet for those games and i thought u might know
