I am looking for current experience with U.S. players going to Canada for hockey tourneys & camps. Anyone out there who has taken teams recently (since Jan 1st) by bus or air? I'm aware air travel rules now require passports for flights to/from Canada. What about by team bus? I'm looking at travel options where squirt to bantam age players would be traveling back & forth from the US to Canada without their parents or guardians.

It appears that the passport rule only applies when travelling by air at this time. A passport will be required beginning January 1, 2008 for land and sea as well. If you Google US Passport Requirements you'll get a ton of sites. Here's a link to one of them.

Good Luck!

thanks for your advice. We are trying to do something special for the kids - all of whom are new to the hockey community.
