I'm certainly not putting Breakaway in the same category of Sports Illustrated.....But, some weird things have happened since the debut of Breakaway Scholastic.

1- Ryan Gannon's five consecutive game point streak ended the first game after he was named player of the month.

2- AA #1 Haverford High lost to Lower Merion

3- AAA #1 O'Hara lost to Holy Ghost

4- AA #2 Council Rock South has lost two straight since being mentioned on the cover for their "Flying Start"

5- AA #3 Washington Twp was 5-0-0, they tied winless Clearview 4-4

6- #2 'A' Hershey dropped their season opener

7- #4 'A' W.C. East tied Malvern II and D'Town East and are now 1-1-2 for the season.

Pennsbury, Methacton and Souderton also lost after making it into the AA rankings.

This was all within FIVE days of the debut of Breakaway Scholastic!!!

Maybe I should retire from doing the rankings?
