Seems like there are less players that would be playing high school hockey now that left the area early then before. Lets get a list together, so we can see just how many actually did leave for hockey reasons. Off the top of my head.

Only Hostetter played high school hockey in teh area though. Most of those kids left before they got to high school.

They still would be eligible for high school hockey if they stayed home. I don't think you can exclude them because they moved out of the area before high school. What's the difference if they move before or later on. Some kids move on earlier because better chances and offers, and some don't because kid or parents not being ready.

McCarthy and Goldberg left when they were in grade school I believe to play at Eaglebrook (sp?)....i'm pretty sure Jamie Lasher was never even from the area to begin with and I think he moved back home to Buffalo after his sophmore year. Colin Flynn went to Avon then Trinity Pawling and is back in the area. There are more jersey kids that I can list like John Yanchek who is at Hotchkiss...i can make a list later.

Lasher moved from Canada his freshmen year. Played freshmen year at Conestoga and Sophmore year at O'hara.

Zach vit played 2 seasons at Randor and was in Milbrok last year. But now is playing for Green Mountain in the EJHL

Would Kyle Mountain still be in high school?

He would be a junior. His birthday is september of 90 I believe.
