Malvern loses 3-2 kennet. Neither team looked great in the game but Kennet got the bounces and Tinkoff after not playing a great first period and a half turned it on and played a great 3rd. Zoeller played allright but the 3rd goal was horrible. It was a weak backhand that he was against his left post for and it went 5hole.

East won 3-1 against Springfield Delco but I havent heard anything bout the game because it was at Aston.

I think Salies beat Haven 4-2 but that could be wrong but they deff won. Haha I wondering if Haven was missing players.

I also heard from a very good source that the players from Roman chased there coach into the hallway and had to be grabbed by security to keep them from attacking him. They said Roman but I think it was Roman II since they played on the rink where the person i talked to was stationed.

Story of Roman player chasing coach was true, he wasn't even in all of his pads! but yes it was Roman II.

I am pretty sure East was the higher seed in that game so i wouldn't say springfield losing was an upset.

East vs springfield was a great game doranzati stood on his head for the entire third period and made what is probally the greatest save of the year.
Haven vs Sallies was all salies for the first two periods. Salgis got hurt late in the game. Haven turned it around in the third but it was well too late. Interesting note: I heard that a streaker ran through the rink after the Haven game
What happened to Malvern did they take the game too lightly, and with the Roman game, I have never heard of a team attacking its coach does anyone have the full story on that?

Springfield was 8, East was 9.

Malvern deff took the game to lightly, and there not really as good as Malvern of past. They dont really have a player who can take the game into his hands when its tied or there down a goal and throw one in the net. Kennet played pretty good defensively and had every bounce in there own zone go there way, and Tinkoff played very well in the third and made a couple great saves.

The Roman thing I heard from an Iceline staff memeber and he said the cops told the Roman player "I dont care what you do on the ice, but here youl get arrested" here being the hallway.

Malvern hasnt had any big recruits in 4 years. They used to get 4 or 5 of them a year, now they dont get any.

Now that the Athletic Dept runs the hockey program I think the era of major recruiting for Malvern is over. The Administration is spending money like water and only want paying bodies in the school.

Graves put up with a lot of BS his last couples years with Malvern from parents who thought they knew how to do it better. Apparently he knew how to do something because it certainly hasn't gotten "better".

That's staggering for Malvern - to lose to a team that finished 16th in the ICSHL standing, one spot under the Malvern II team. That's another reason for them not to be included in these play-offs - there's no good that can come of them for Malvern.

Speaking of which, question - if Malvern and Salesianum play in the ICSHL league why aren't they included in the standings on the ICSHL website?

Not unless they applied, got accepted and are paying. Big-time recruiting is done. MP has a new $6M Arts Center to pay for.

Because we have three different "leagues" sharing a single database--AAA, ICSHL, EHSHL, and teams can only appear in one "league standing". That is function of the original organization of the SQL database, and if the terms SQL, JavaScript, Tomcat Server, LINUX, don't make your head hurt, we can talk.

Seriously, the presence of crossovers, inter-league play, different numbers of games, etc., make the web site a complex thing to structure and maintain. If we have single league organization with Divisions, the site becomes more managaeable. I'd like to tear it down and re-build the entire database structure, but not right now. I think we will wait to see how next year may be organized for leagues, etc.

And hey, how about a little love for Kennett, a team that's struggled to find themselves this year (5 wins before last night). They brought their "A" game (pun intended), played hard, and this night at least, were the better team. I will repeat my earlier position, other than La Salle, I don't believe the competitive separation between A, AA, AAA teams is unplayable. A/AA/AAA are only for Flyers Cup and the PA state championship.
