Washington Twp beat Shawnee 7-6 to win the SJHSIHL championship. (Great game)

Suburban league playoffs:
C.B. West upset Rock South in OT
LaSalle Gold beat Souderton
LaSalle Blue beat Tennent
Pennridge beat McDevitt

LaSalle Blue will face LaSalle Gold in the semi-finals, meaning LaSalle is garunteed a team in the finals(Who do the fans root for?)

Can the players for the losing LaSalle team then be "called up" to the winning LaSalle team to play for the championship even after they just lost in the semi's?

I wouldn't call CB West's victory over CR South an upset. It was a pretty even game. West gave up a couple of bad goals. Both goalies played well. South's goalie, Chiokadze, made some great 1st period saves to keep South in the game.

West beat CR South 7-3 about a month ago in a game that wasn't as close as the score. The SHSHL North division is stronger than the South division which skews the records. The two "AA" finalists will come from the North division.

i agree with you fred, the north is the strongest division in the league. The West Game was an excellent game back and forth the whole game.

I was told today that the LaSalle players will not be swinging from the Blue and Gold team.

im pretty sure the players from those 2 teams are completely independant of each other.

the one team has many players that are called up onto the aaa team. the other team is filled with mostly upperclassmen that havent and wont play an aaa game.

One exception, one of the Blue team's goalies has backed up Pyne on occasion. Otherwise they are completely independent

Great game too by the way at Iceworks. Both teams played hard in front of a big crowd from both schools, rink 2 was full. Pretty impressive for a Wednesday night at 9:30.

I was at that game and it was a good game. I was surprised at the outcome and there were a lot of fans there from both schools.

CB West was only up 3-2 with 1:30 left in the 3rd period on CR North and they took CR South to overtime. They didn't 'dominate' either one of those games, they did play very well though. BTW LaSalle GOLD beat Tennent and LaSalle BLUE beat Souderton
