Henderson 4-1 over Downingtown West. Tonights' game was one of the best all around team games from the Warriors for the year. Every single player had a good game...in every aspect of the game. It's true, I'm a huge Warrior fan, no I don't have a son that plays on the team, that was last year. I am an alum though. You can't pick a better time for a team to "jell", they're getting great teamwork from everyone, too bad they don't have 20 games like the PV's and Conestoga's. It's great that the winning percentage is what will drive the ICSHL playoffs. Congratulations to the Warriors! It's going to be great competition, and great hockey coming up. It's going to be the great team, not the great individual that will go the farthest. Good luck to everyone and may the best team win! (Sorry Snipe, I hope you have a trash can nearby)

Penncrest has had a really tough stretch of games there.

i agree with Moose, Henderson didn't rely on just one player or even their first line to win the game tonight. I noticed McGee was playing with Cottle and Latta not Zucker. I don't think West got the best game out of Phiffer their goalie though.

Conestoga- 6
Downingtown East-1

Strong showing from 'stoga, got a bunch of early goals and never looked back.

Strath Haven-7
Radnor-1

Slagis got a 2 and 10 and in that stretch it was a very even game, but when Slagis was on the ice they dominated. Another haven player got a 2 and a 10 for a check from behind into the boards with 5 seconds to go.

WC East-5
Unionville-2

Unionville went up 2-0 early and than East just took over. Nice physical game, i thought Lamont played outstanding. Both goalies made some great saves as well.

Malvern-3
St Joes Prep-0
didn't see any of the game.

Boyertown was up 8 to 3 on Great Valley when i walked through, they looked like a very fast team.

Malvern II - 3
O'Hara II - 3
Malvern carried much of the action in a well-played game. O'Hara tied it with about 5 minutes to go. O'Hara netminder saved game.

Malvern dominated play. St. Joe's goalie kept it closer than it was.

Rustin vs Perkiomen Valley Rustin 6 - PV 3. Rustin really played like a team that is really coming together. Offense was on fire as well as the D who were on top of their game. PV has some great players which includes DeLuca. Rustin should and will be able to carry momentum into playoffs.

Garnet Valley lost to Springfield tonight 4 to 2. It was as close game for the most part Springfeild scored 2 goals from the redline and i think that one may have been shorthanded. Springfield goalie played solid as usual.

Monday, 2/12 @ Skatium:

Monsignor Bonner - 12
Carrol - 2

Ridley - 7
Lower Merion - 0

For Ridley, that was our last game of the season. I think we did better than most people would have guessed. We started out 1-4 and finished 8-6-5, and recorded seven shutouts as a team. I'm happy with the results, and hope our performance over the second half of the season was enough to warrant a Flyer's Cup bid. Looking forward to EHSHL playoffs and the inevitable rematch vs Haverford High as well.
