here, i think stoga should be at #3 instead of pennsburry, and i also think Freedom should have gotten higher than 13

Freedom hasnt beaten anyone outside of their league and the LVSHL has never won a single Flyers Cup game, when the LVSHL does win a game, they will probably start to move up in the seeding process the following year.

I think CB West is ranked too high, they finished behind souderton in the final standings in the SHSHL and i also believe CR South is highly overrated.

Overall CB West was 13-10-2, Souderton was 11-10-3.

Head-to-head they tied 5-5 and CB West won 7-1. I think the order is appropriate.

I am not necessarily saying they should be ranked behind Souderton, but putting them 5 spots ahead in my mind is a stretch.
Also they lost about 8-2 to McDevitt in the season, but they are ranked ahead of Mcdevitt. However the excuse is used for Pennsbury to be ahead of Pennridge because Pennsbury beat them head to head despite Pennridge having 5 less losses. Doesn't make sense.

Here's a bit of a surprise. SHSHL South gets 4 teams while the North gets 3. There was a lot of talk all year about the South division being much inferior.

Also, Rock North did enough in the 2nd half to get in. Not bad for a team that started 1 - 9.

Your point about McDevitt and C.B. West is noted but Comparing Lower Bucks to Suburban is apples and oranges. Pennsbury had more losses, but they were mostly to AAA teams.

Head to head is not always the deciding factor, but when two teams are seeded very closely as Pennridge and Pennsbury are, the head to head game has to be given more weight than if a 14 seed happened to beat a 3 seed (just an example)

That doesnt mean that the 14 seed jumps over the 3 seed.....but when dealing with 3-4-5 head to head has to be a factor

6-10-2. Zero wins against teams with an above .500 record.....it was hard to put together a good arguement for Ridley.

Wins against Upper Darby, Episcopal and St. Joe's II wern't going to help.

The win against GV was nice and ties against St Joe's AAA and Springfield were the only positive notes on the entire schedule.

It just wasn't enough.

You guys have nobodies, i played your goalie and he let a goal in in the 1st 10 seconds. Maybe if you guys are a young team you'll get in next year, keep you head up and use this (not getting in) as inspiration in future games.

This question is for Matt and other people who arent gonna act like jackasses (or like me) in their responce:

1. Did washington TWP get #2 b/c they won the SJHSIHL championship? if so shouldnt all leagues try to finish their playoffs before the selection committee meets?

2. Was it close between Conestoga and Pennsbury for 3rd/4th?

that is all for now

I think it would be a great idea if all playoffs were done before the selectins!

Townships a good team...lots of speed. Winning the SJ title is not what did it. We just thought that was where they belonged. If they lost in the finals they probably still would have been #2.

Historiacally, Wash Twp has not shown up for the Flyers Cup, So I wouldn't be surprised if they got knocked out early.

I felt that HH was the clear cut #1 and that 2-5 could be shuffled up any which way.

I orginally had 'Stoga at three, before Rich's injury. I dropped them down to five, but was over ruled and they ended up at 4. Like I said, I thought 2-5 were all interchangeble so I didnt put up any kind of fight.

Umm.. it was a breakaway off the opening faceoff. I had hardly turned around from getting a sip of water before he was in the slot, ripping one top shelf. What the hell is the difference in letting a goal in on a breakaway 10 seconds into a game than letting a goal in on a breakaway 20 minutes into a game? If anything, it's harder to make a big stop like that out of the gate than it is midway through a game.

You know nothing about goaltending, don't judge what you don't understand.

If you're implying that I'm a nobody, I suggest you check last year's All Delco rankings, this years Eastern-Suburban All Star Game roster, the 16AA Atlantic District Championships last year and so on.

Towards the Flyers cup, it doesn't really surprise me. I would have liked to have made it but after our pounding in our league championship game, I didn't think we had much of a chance. Good luck to everyone who made it.
