Henderson vs. Kennett. ICSHL south had both teams in the championship with kennett on top. Who's your pick?

All Inter County final at Iceline - place should be rockin cause both schools have great student support.

Kennett is my pick as the winner. They went 3-1-1. They tied them early in the season, lost 7-3 in mid season and down the stretch they got the better of them in close games. This is the match up I picked in my flyers cup pool. Kennett’s strength is its goaltending and its defense; Henderson’s strength is its offense. Henderson can stretch the ice well and knows how to get the puck to their finishers, but Kennett has a lot of fast defensemen who can cover those spots and anticipate the passes. As long as Kennett can get some offense they should take this game by 1 or 2.

I guess it would be safe to say.....

Henderson = Offensive Power House

Kennett = Defensive Power House

I guess we will see if the old hockey saying is true?
"Offense Wins games, Defense wins Championships"

i dont see anyone in the league beating mc garry and the rest of kennets d. so im gonna have to go with kennets defense on this one

I wouldnt call it a huge upset....Henderson is certainly capable of winning the game.

henderson played some of their best hockey all season, and defeated kennett last night. Kennets defense is very good but henderson's offense was able to pull off the victory. Mattern played great in net for henderson.

This is for Jigga Beef. I'm a little confused. So are the Sunday Sports Sections of the newspapers! Are you saying Kennett was 3-1-1 against Henderson? Henderson and Kennett played twice in the regular season. A tie and a loss for Kennett makes them 0-1-1. Then Kennett wins the ICHSL with two straight (close) wins, they played very well then. Kennett is 2-1-1 versus Henderson going into the Flyers Cup. Henderson plays and is the offensive power people thought they might be throughout the tournament. They score the most goals, 5+ per game, in the "A" bracket. Henderson wins the Flyers Cup for the first time ever. That makes both teams 2-2-1, even for the year. There's a new rivalry in the making!

My guess is a kennett win vs Hendeson in the Christmas Tourney..
