I play for Ridley and I played against Haverford about 10 times since my freshmen year (now a junior) and I also went to a few of their games including reg season and all 3 Flyers Cup championships and I think that their fans are the best to play against. Fans are what make HS hockey even more fun, the chants that annoy the players and when they storm the penalty box when the opposing team gets a penalty, it is all in fun, of course they use a lot of foul language, but it is all in fun. Almost every athlete has a friend from a different school and they really don't mean what they say, they just do it for their school and their friends on the hockey team.

Yes, that is true, you would not want to bring a young child to the game, but no matter what is done, high school kids chanting and cheering with the "F" word cannot be stopped easily, I am in high school and I don't mind it when I am playing, it should not be said when there is young children around, don't take any offense, but I think that the best solution would be to sit in the cafe, at least at Iceworks

as I siad on another thread HGP night in and night out get a great turnout from their students and no matter the score they never let you forget they are there. And it's been that way for as long as I can remember lining up against them
