Can anyone explain the fact that the Central Division teams in the ICSHL have 20 games while everyone else has 18? The math just doesn't add up, the Central teams get a 2 game advantage for the seedings in the playoffs. What exactly is going on? It's got a lot of teams at a disadvantage. When the seedings for the "Presidents" Cup are set does the person seting the seedings drop 2 wins from the Central teams?

The seeding will not be done on points, but on winning percentage. The ICSHL web site lacks the ability to display anything but the traditional hockey "points". Don't sweat it, the seeding will consider the "strength of schedule" played--a lower winning percentage may still be a higher seed based on who the teams played.

Central teams have 20 games (and paid for them in league fees) because they wanted to play 2x ICSHL-Central (one game is "Central", the other a "league" game, like when Malvern-O'Hara play each other more than once) and 1x EHSHL-Central, plus 4 games against Ches-Mont, AAA, etc., to fill out the league's schedule for all teams.
