themichigan / dumpnchase.

You want the facts, here they are.

During your attempts to Slander Ken Haas, he read every post. He asked me who you were and I told him all I have is an email address.

Ken said, "I think I know who it is", He mentioned your name the name matched that of the email address. All I did was confirm what he allready knew.

Funny how when he emailed you, that you responded that you had no idea what he was talking about, yet you come on here and make a stink.

Not only are you a coward, but your a liar too.

themichigan --- You still don't get it. As I said, I've often expressed opinions that run contrary to those of many on this site and contrary to Matt's as well. On sensitive subjects. NEVER have I received inappropriate treatment as a result. Perhaps the difference is that I have always tried, successfully for the most part, to be as tactful as the situation allowed, to be willing to listen to an opposing opinion, and to respond without making personal attacks on the integrity of any named individual. Therein lies the difference between discourse and slander.

Looks like Mr Puck might be in trouble too.

KH spent a full year trying to win an SHSHL championship and failed. It starts with the North Penn coach being fired after last year and KH getting the job. From the position of SHSHL president, decisions can be made to help North Penn. First, reduce the competition.

A new rule is proposed. La Salle's second hockey team cannot be eligible for playoffs in AA. That role was voted down by the members. (I heard the meeting was not well attended). Second try. La Salle's second hockey team must play AAA. That passed. La Salle is out of SHSHL.

Next, admit Pennsbury and Neshaminy to the SHSHL even though they will not be eligible for playoffs since they are already in the lower Bucks League. Put them in the other division which allows a team with two wins to qualify for the playoffs and keeps a good team like Souderton out of the playoffs.

When the best North Penn player receives a gross misconduct, a disciplinary meeting is held immediately and the suspension is set at a few games. Normally, a player must not practice or play until the meeting takes place. Usually, the meeting takes several weeks to occur, but being the president has its advantages.

An ex-varsity player who played juniors decides to play for North Penn. To get him the necessary games to become eligible for playoffs, play him on JV.

Before making the SHSHL playoff schedule, wait to see if the Jr. Flyers make the Atlantic District playoffs so the best payer is available. When they don't make the playoffs, schedule 1 of the best of 3 final games are for the same night as a district playoff. It's a shame the strategy failed because he did not make the SHSHL finals.

I feel bad for the North Penn players to be associated with this manipulation. It was the coach's failure to perform on the bench that cost a good North Penn team a shot at the championship. KH should resign as both coach and president of the league so that high school hockey in the suburban league can thrive again.

to release someones name/email to another person who is a memember of groupee is against anything that you checked off after reading what the code of conduct thing said when making a groupee account... Matt Sacks as the moderator of this forum i would expect that you would know the rules and follow them... yes the person asked and has the right to know but only through consent from the person who wrote on the message board since this is a private forum... if this is a serious issue then the michigan can file a law suit and get this web site shut down... matt sacks has explaining to do as the moderator

1- I am NOT Groupee nor am I infopop.

2- I did NOT release ANYONE's name to anyone.

3- I did not "release" anyone's email address, I simply confirmed what was allready known.

4- If the website is shut down so be it, I do this as a service to the hockey community. There is no financial gain for me to keep this running.

AMARAK
Exposing something that was shady or improperly handled on a message board may be the only way to share that information with others But...On the other hand (and I have said this before) the only way to correct the problem or to at least have anybody take your concern seriously you have to come to a league meeting and go FACE to FACE with the people who are cheating and using their power for perks.
Bickering in a chat room will not change anything.
Too many people bicker and complain on a message board but never take a pro-active approach to correct the problem. If the people running the league are so bad then vote them out and get some new blood.

Do you really think Matt cares if this website is shut down? Do you see any ads on this website? Is Matt getting rich off of this website? Matt spends a lot of his time working on this site for our enjoyment. It is a great site that I really enjoy. However, I don't enjoy unfounded character assassinations made by someone hiding behind a computer screen. KH also spends countless hours of his time helping the youth of today. What do you do to make this world a better place? Each and every one of you who reads this needs to look in the mirror and answer that question. I can not tell you how many people I come across in the hockey community who tell me how they could do a better job than either myself or someone else, yet they never step up and do anything. There are way too many bags of hot air out there who never volunteer for anything! If I was Matt, I would have done the same thing! If this site gets shut down, it is our loss, not Matt's. Stop complaining and start volunteering. We wonder why so many of today's youth are poor sports. I think the biggest reason why is because they listen to adults complain about this and that, but never see those same adults do anything to bring about change. They learn to bitch and complain, to blame others for their mistakes, to take short cuts and cheat, but they never learn how to volunteer. I understand that I am over-generalizing and that there are many great people in our hockey community, but the rest of you need to shut up, get your hands dirty and be pro-active.

writing on a private forum does not give you the right to write sladerous untrue comments about players/board members/officials.
facts - ok.
opinion - ok.
naming names and making stuff up to ruin reputations - not ok.

learned a lot hockeyman in 24 hours...after you yourself posted 2 comments about a player yesterday which you deleted so come forward as well hockeyman or post things people care about - not things on your own personal agenda.

Matt shouldnt have to be the fire prevention specialist here - would you like spending your volunteer efforts babysitting parents - we know you are not really a college student.

be respectful of the site and use it for the reason it exists. try that

I for one am happy as hell that some anonymous poster got was what was coming his way. For to long people get to hide behind an anonymous User ID’s and slander good or even bad people on sites such as this and not have to be accountable for the things they say. It’s outrageous that someone can post on a site and not be held accountable for the things they say when they try to hurt someone personally.

Everyone knows that I don’t even care for Ken Haas and I don’t agree with the some of the posts made by people like Luber25 saying how good a man Ken Haas is. My personal experiences with Ken are much different than Luber’s and he knows that what I am saying is true. However, I would not make the personal comments that have been made about him on a public forum anonymously or even with my name attached. I just don’t think my personal troubles with anyone are or should be public knowledge. Who in the hell cares what I think about anyone anyway?

I agree with “ice ice baby” that facts or opinion are fine. Personal attacks that are not true are bad and the poster should be held accountable. Personally, I don’t know why anyone would need to hide if they are posting true things about someone that happen to be negative about that same person. I have accused a few people of wrong doing in my time and I never did it anonymously. I have always thought that if I thought someone was cheating the person I accuse should know it was me that accused him and what information I had on the accused person.

So, I salute Matt for exposing his first coward. I lift my glass of Iced Tea to hoping that this changes the way people post on this forum. If not, I look forward to Matt exposing the second coward!

HHS and ice ice baby --- ATTABOYS to both of you! There is a line one doesn't cross. ice ice baby drew it in exactly the right place. Personal, NAMED, attacks based on questionable, partial, or false information are over the line. PERIOD.
Furthermore (on my own now, no longer in re HHS and ice ice baby' comments), when the attack rises to the level of slander in an essentially public forun, in my opinion, the writer loses his right to anonymity.

Amen Turdferguson! And everyone else! Let's do get back to ice hockey, one of the greatest sports there are, even though I never played. I have played a lot of other sports, and guess what? The same controversies go on in those venues too! First off, thanks Brian for leading the way by posting your name, that's leadership! I have a novel idea. As soon as we get the trash talking, belittling threads going, ban the person from participating. When they sign up again and again with different screen names ban them again and again. This is a great site with a lot of great dialog and exchange of valuable ideas floating around. This is the type of place that helps keep the sport vibrant and alive. I also have to agree with hhfan...if you want to have an impact in the hockey community get involved and volunteer. I did even though my son is done with high school hockey and I plan to continue in some way.

In the spirit of Brian Cleary...
