Where: Jamestown, New York Savings Bank Arena

Credentials: All teams must be registered with USA Hockey or be able to compete vs USA Hockey teams

Entry Fee: 875.00 USD

Level of Play: Varsity

Number of Teams: 16

Uniforms: All teams must be properly uniformed. The home team will wear light/white jerseys and the visiting team will wear dark/colored jerseys in all games.

Number of games per Team: 3 game guarantee with the possibility of 6 games. The 16 team format will consist of 4 four-team divisions playing a complete round robin game schedule. Each team will play each team in its division. The top team from each division will advance to the QuarterFinals along with four wild card teams on Saturday Night with Semifinals, Finals on Sunday.

Limitations: Certain states can compete vs USAHockey teams and certain states limit each team to two events per year with event only allowing three games which the tournament can accomdate.

Length of Games: All games will consist of three fifteen-min stop-time periods. The ice will be resurfaced before each game and after the second period.

Format: Each team will receive two points for a win, one point for a tie, and zero points for a loss. All games will have a winner. Every game will have overtime period followed by shootout.

Tournament Additions: Skills competition will take place on Saturday. The Semi-Finals and Championship will be shown live on bxvideo.com

Rules: USA Hockey Youth Rules apply.

Awards: The first place team will receive a Tournament trophy, medals, and named will appear on the Governor’s Cup.

Scouts: Scouts will be able to watch 640 players and tournament information will be mailed to all junior and college programs in the U.S. & Canada.

I thought the periods were longer in last year's tournament? Weren't they 17 minutes a piece?

15 minute periods last year and this year as well.
