Belated Congratulations to HGP’s John Soroka and to Coach Steve Ivcic. The Bucks County Courier Times recently (last week) named Soroka the High School Player of the year along with naming Ivcic the Coach of the Year. Both guys were truly deserving of the award. Great Job!

The Courier names a “Golden Team” consisting of the top players in their subscribing area. First team honors went to the following:

John Soroka - HGP (12th grade)
Nick Seravalli - HGP (11th grade)
Ryan Gannon - Pennsbury (11th grade)
Shawn McKay - Pennsbury (12th grade)
Taylor Lockhart - Council Rock North
Fran Begley - HGP (12th grade)

Sorry but I can’t remember exactly the entire 2nd team I think Second Team honors went to the following. I can’t remember or find out who the sixth player on the second team was. If I am wrong please correct any injustice. Thanks!

Pete Sweetland - Pennsbury (10th grade)
Michael Andrusko - HGP (12th grade)
Frank Walther - Neshaminy (12th grade)
Steve Sandora – HGP (12th grade)

I believe the sixth player was Bob Gasper, senior at CR-South. Lockhart is a junior btw.
