what do you guys think of the AA match ups that are already in place for the flyers cup?

I don't understand - the first 4 teams get a bye, then shouldn't #5 play #20, not #12?

you are thinking of the AAA brackets. See www.flyerscup.org for the brackets.

the A and AA brackets are 20 teams: 13-20 have a "play-in" game (13 vs 20, 14 vs 19...), leaving a 16 team field (1 vs 16, 2 vs 15...). Same format as last year.

AAA added a 12 vs 13 "play-in" game this year to select the opponent for the 5th seed.

So you are eliminating 4 of the lowest seeded teams, then #1 plays 16 etc.

Yes, the field has to get down to 16 teams for the bracket to function properly. so the bottem 8 play so that four will advance to make the field 16.

C.B. West and Cherokee looks like it should be a good one, any thoughts?
How about the McDevitt Central Dauphin game?

I think Kinniry is suspended for the first round. I'm not sure what to expect from Cherokee without their leading scorer.

Yeah, i agree the cb west/cherokee game would have been good. But without Kinniry i dont see them as being much of a threat. Any Thoughts??

uhhh i dont think south jersey high school transfers over to the flyers cup does it?

oh and yes hocworld (aka) Kyle Manny, is right..we have 20X the fire power Twp. or Shawnee had, the only difference in every game this year was that..they had really good goaltending..not trying to put our goalie in a bad spot..but that is the only reason..out shooting both teams by nearly double proves it.

USA Hockey rules for fighting carry over. If you were suspended for a fight in a high school game, you are suspended for the next High School game. The Flyers Cup tournament is a High School tournament, so my guess is yes, the suspension will carry over.

IT was your last game in the SJHSIHL, When would you serve the suspension if not the Flyers Cup?

Any suspensions for fighting or anything else definitely carry over - 100% without a doubt.
