ARCHBISHOP RYAN ICE HOCKEY ALUMNI GAME 2007

Come join us for our second Annual Alumni game on Saturday morning, August 4, 2007 @ the Northeast Skate Zone.

There will be two games being played on both ice surfaces, with the first game starting around 10:00 AM. Only graduates will be playing. This year we are asking a minimum donation from all players of $10 to help us off set the ice cost. Not only is everyone in the club invited, but the Alumni’s families are invited too.

Please come & see the former Ryan Ice Hockey players play one another for bragging rights. Also any memorabilia, the Alumni might have, please bring them with you for all to see & reminisce after the game.

There will be an all day long barbeque behind the rink. We will need volunteers to bring grills (LP Gas only) to help us cook up Hot Dogs & Hamburgers (supplied by the Club). We ask that if you are coming for the event, please bring with you all other food, deserts, & refreshments you will need & also any chairs for folks to sit on. Tables will be provided for all to eat at. Anyone who would like to bring softball equipment or a horse shoe set, please do. I will try to hook up a sprinkler for the younger kids, if weather permits. Please feel free to bring any “pop-up” tents for shade.

We would like to make this an enjoyable Ryan Family affair & therefore all present club members, as well as all former players’ families are invited to make this a memorable day.

ANOTHER GREAT RYAN ICE HOCKEY ALUMNI GAME 2007

THANKS TO ALL THOSE DIE HARD ALUMNI FOLKS WHO SHOWED UP & MADE THIS ANOTHER GREAT TIME. A GOOD TIME WAS HAD BY ALL. SPECIAL THANKS TO ALL THOSE WHO HELPED OUT, TO MAKE THIS DAY AN ENJOYABLE ONE. ESPECIALLY THE BOARD MEMBERS, DAN B., JIM H., JACK & MARY H., THE M'S, MIKE R. & ALL THE STAFF AT THE ZONE & MY NEW COHORT, JJ. HOPEFULLY NEXT YEARS WILL BE EVEN BETTER. WE HAVE ALREADY SET A DATE FOR NEXT YEAR, SATURDAY, AUGUST 2, 2008, AT THE FAR NORTHEAST SKATEZONE. SO MARK IT ON YOUR CALENDAR, NO EXCUSES THIS YEAR, EVERYONE HAS PLENTY OF NOTICE. NEXT YEARS ALUMNI DAY WILL CONSIST OF MORE TO DO FOR EVERYONE. THE CURRENT PLAYERS & THE ALUMNI PLAYERS. THERE WILL BE GAMES, COMPETITIONS & YES MAYBE EVEN PRIZES & TROPHIES FOR BOTH THE YOUNG & THE NOT SO YOUNG. HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL THERE.
