Although Pennsbury had 7 losses 6 were to AAA teams they only lost to CB West at AA and it was a 1 goal game. They also beat two other top 10 teams soundly. Beating Pennridge 4-1 and CR South 7-1. I think you have to look beyond the record with this team. Remember they have to play 4 AAA teams twice each.

...and i believe Pennsbury had their back-up goalie playing in that loss to C.B. West

After Pennsbury's loss to CB West....West's head coach told me directly "That's the best team we've played all year"

Why did they get screwed?

Should they be ahead of Pennsbury? Why should Pennsbury be penalized because Pennridge didn't have their #1 goalie....why even play the game then if it isn't going to hold any weight?

Also of note....Pennsbury had 4 wins against 3 of the top 8 'AAA' teams....also had Haverford tied 3-3 with under 2 minutes to go before losing on a turnover.

McDevitt finished the season going 3-6-0 in its last 9 regular season games and finished 12-10-2 overall. They should be lower than 11th. Other than that I think the seedings are very fair.

They could have gone as low as 13....they were ranked ahead of Souderton and Tennent in the SHSHL, so it would be hard to drop them below either of those two teams.

Is it a fair assessment, that since the FC added the play-in for teams at A & AA, the focus of conversation has moved to seedings, instead of who was left out ? I think that was a very good decision, and no one on that list shouldn't feel they don't have have a shot, with an upset or two.

How does the home-ice advantage work? We are the #2 seed and we do not get a game at our home rink, which is Center Ice in Oaks. Instead we are playing at IceLine, and if the prior game goes according to seeding, we will be playing Penncrest who are closer to IceLine than we are. How do our efforts in the regular season earn us any advantage in Flyers Cup if we don't even get the home ice that we have earned?

I'm not quite sure....I stay out of the rink assignment stuff, but I'm not sure if Center Ice even provided the Committee with any open ice slots. Again, not my department, maybe someone else will chime in.

Penncrest's home ice is Aston, so it would be a neutral site, not a home game for them.

your efforts in the regular season earn you the advantage of playing a lower seeded team.
