Hatfield Ice, Lansdale Catholic Ice Hockey, and North Penn Ice Hockey are pleased to host the Ben Stear Benefit Game.

When? October 2, 2008 - 7:20pm
Where? Hatfield Ice (350 County Line Rd, Colmar, PA 18915)
Cost? $5.00

All proceeds from the event will be given to the Ben Stear Fund.

North Penn Varsity and Lansdale Catholic Varsity will face off in an Exhibition game to help aid the Ben Stear Fund. There will also be special guest appearances and a memorabilia auction, again with all money going towards the Ben Stear Fund.

Ben Stear was seriously injured on June 14, 2008 while playing Ice Hockey for the CB South High School team. Ben was diagnosed with a broken C5 Vertebra and a severe spinal cord injury.

We hope you will all come out and support the Ben Stear Fund and have the opportunity to watch some great Varsity Hockey!

I sent emails to people at Comcast (Flyers/Sixers), Phillies, U of Penn and St Joes asking if they had any leftover promotional items they would like to donate for auctioning off for Bens fund.

I don't know Ben or affiliated with the teams or school but hopefully the places I contacted can donate some things like leftover bobbleheads and such that they can raise some money for him.

Also emailed Villanova, La Salle, Temple, Drexel, Neumann, Princeton schools.
