Anyone want to make a comment on this box score (besides the obvious that Upper Darby is really struggling)?

Upper Darby dressed about 8 skaters for the game. I don't know if that is their normal turnout, it was the first time I saw them this year.

Good question Jigga!!! Is most everyone blowing out UD? Yes, but that is a disgrace and total lack of sportsmanship to have that line on towards the end. That's a case where your 2nd and 3rd lines are the only ones to see the ice and maybe try to get some young guys a point or two. But maybe Lundy will be the top scorer in the league and that will be a feather in LM's hat. The "hockey gods" see all and what comes around usually goes around!!

But then again should we be surprised. What was that goalie's name from last year that kind of focused on HIS stats (cough)????? Has anyone seen his GAA lately?? Maybe his defensmen were pretty darn good after all?

Matt, sorry in advance for bringing him up again, but I miss him so!!

No need to apologize. He burnt his bridges with me at the end of last season. I was never anything but nice to the kid, but he threw a tantrum and got very personal when he didn't get the acolades from Breakaway that he expected.

I will offer no opinion on the guy as I try to remain professional....like you said, his stats speak for themself.

First of all its lundy, and i just want to defend myself a little since nobody on lower merion gets any credit. Me and will were still in the game against UD because we wanted to go out that night. Its sad but true. It was already a late game, and it was a friday night and school just got out. Once we got up by 10 with five minutes left, we didnt touch the ice. Second of all, I dont give a crap about the scoring title, as long as we win i dont care. Ive lead the league before and it dont mean much, if we dont win the central league.

Lundy, your right. Your reasoning is sad, but my problem is not with you. You're a talented player and all your instincts are to score and win when you're sent on the ice.

My problem is with the men standing behind you on the bench. Why are they sending/allowing you out there in that kind of game? No matter the reasoning, it's pouring it on!! If it's because you told them you wanted go out, well that's on them for allowing you to get away with that. The experience/confidence/rewards some of your younger/3rd line players may have gotten during that same time could have paid off down the road.....maybe?

And maybe I just don't like seeing some struggling players on a struggling team getting kicked repeatedly when they're alreadty beaten down!

No i don't think Lundy or Wolf are to blame at all, if your not going to try when your on the ice then why play, if i was put on the ice i would try and score too. Its also like when your blowing a team out and you put in your back ups its hard to tell them not to try and score if tehy don't get much playing time

Is LM's coach the same one was it was in 2003-2004 season? if so this is not suprising to me

It is a differnt coach, and your right he was a little over eager to get the game over wth. I just thought that thing with the feather in LM's hat wiht me leading the league in scoring was a cheap shot. In my opinion we are one of the top 3 teams in teh central league and scorign things doesnt mean anythgin to me i just want to win teh league and maybe get a bid to flyers cup. I appreciate you guys understanding, but ur right we shouldve not have been on for the lst 8-10 minutes of the 2nd period

Nice tie with 'Stoga tonite. I caught the last 25 minutes or so of the game.

LM is not eligible for the Flyers Cup. It isn't because you arent good enough, it's because LM isn't pure. You have players from two schools playing on the same team.

That is the same reason that LM has not appeared in the Breakaway rankings. (If that is what you meant by "LM gets no credit")You're wrong about that. I think LM is a top 10 team at AA.....the reason you aren't in there is because the rankings are reserved for Flyers Cup eligible teams only. LaSalle II would be #1 at AA, but they also don't qualify for the Breakaway rankings.

Which LaSalle team was at Ice Line's X-mas Tournament, at AA? Was that LaSalle 3?

Speaking of this tournament, can someone confirm my suspicions that the "Hershey" team entered in that tourney was the Hershey Jr Bears U-18 AA team and NOT Hershey HS?
