A bunch of schools were let out early or cancelled today. There are 10 games scheduled for tonight - 9 minus the Neshaminy/Conestoga game. With the next round not starting until Tuesday, it would be wise to cancel the games tonight and reschedule them for Saturday/Sunday.
Spare me, God forbid these teams played in Minnesota where it really snows. There is no legitimate reason to cancel games for a couple of inches of rain/snow (unless the teams farther north are getting something different?). It's not like people are going to bunker down inside their homes tonight and take shelter.

At least they know how to deal with it. Silly bastards around here in their big old trucks think they still can drive 65 with ice and snow on the road and not have a problem. Everybody just slow down and leave extra time and it will all be fine. Better be, cause I've got an hours drive for my game tonight and that's without traffic or weather problems.
alright, i somewhat agree they shouldnt be cancelled. But with school cancelled and buses cant take the players. Watch the news and look at the schuykill, it has dozens of accidents already. And they will be traveling at 4 and 5 when it really gets busy. I guess you would want 16 and 17 year old kids getting hurt in accidents.
I don't dream about hockey...I do things in hockey that people dream about..
