If so, I'll see you there.

I some how live either 25 or 35 minutes away from the main rinks. I guess its better than having one close one and a buch of far ones, but sometimes i would like to have a "close" rink

Iceline-25
Iceworks-25
Skadium-20
Hatfield-35
Class of '23-35
Face Off Circle-35

Again does Skate zone have the bleechers to seat a flyers cup final? I think Hatfield is a nice rink and a great place to watch a game but it just does not have the amount of seating nessneesary. Also have they re-done Grundy recnetly? it wasn't in too great shape last time i was there.

My 2 cents.

I haven't been to Aston so can't comment about it. I was at states the last time they were at Iceline and I thought it was just TOO crowded in there.

Grundy might work but parking would be a problem. Class of 23 would be great if they could move it somewhere.

I was at the Skatezone in NE last night for team Philadelphia tryouts and there isn't close to enough seating to host a championship game

class of 23 would be the perfect place to hold FC championships and even States if they somehow improved parking and locker room conditions

is 23 the rink at penn in philly? if so its a nice rink stands wise for the game but from a player standpoint the benches are offel, they hold only about 10 players max comforatably. if im thinkin of the wrong rink then my bad, but if not that rink would be really nice if the bench situation was taken care of.

Yep. That's the rink. Back when I played (just after the civil war) that rink was really nice. I haven't been there for quite a while but it sounds like it's been neglected.

They havent done much since the war! All the money that college has and they wont spend a dime on the rink. It's a shame because there is a lot of history there.

Last I heard they may make a performing arts center or tear it down and build classrooms or housing.

Mo, It's it's not about the hockey people who run the rink (Who happens to be a friend of mine) It's about the people who control the check books that won't give him the funding to make repairs and upgrades. The manager makes the best out of what he has.

The Zamboni looks like something from Sanford & Son.
