Yeah who cares, its just a kid trying to enjoy some high school hockey along with whatever else he is pursueing.

If these kids were superstars they would probably be playing Empire, EJHL, NAHL, OHL, USHL up north and west.

It's hard for these teams to find parents to take in kids and mentor them. It's not easy to place these kids trying to pursue a dream.

America's Team lost....bet the phones are ringing up and down the East Coast.

What did the original post say ...Conestoga, Henderson, Strath Haven, Methacton, etc., have been struggling all season to keep up with that team no one will mention...cut me a break.

Pretty funny, one should let the team do the talking and be quiet until it's all over.

I think that's pretty close to what I was saying in the first place...if you're going to boost selected top teams and players, try to include them all...or, at least, don't forget the team that's been in 1st place for the last 2 months. But no one here was letting them speak for themselves...it was all "this team's the best...that player's not having a good year...hear are the best 10 players, etc." The point was, if you're going to evaluate, at least TRY to take the blinders off. Otherwise, save it.
And, yes, PV got smeared on Friday...out-shot 2 to 1, defense collapsed, no offense, goaltender hung out to dry. An uncharacteristic performance, as most of their opponents will testify.

Ok I just saw this topic for the first time and was reading through it.

First of all I dont know who said it but someone stated that Billiting has been going on in this area for years and metioned WC East,WC Henderson, Malvern and a couple other teams. This is highly false, in fact I know there hasnt been a single billet player on East or Henderson over the past 10 years. And unless some kid who played for the Little Flyers I doubt there has ever been.
There are a couple kids that played on the new Junior Flyers Junior B team this year and last but there are all born and raised in the area.

I do agree that if this continues any team that gets a group of Billet players should be forced into the AAA ranks. I dont know if anyone knows St. Marys who plays in the X-mas tourney at Iceline every year and they where just a normal high school 15 years ago and then Apple Core junior team started, since then they have been a top 25 team in the Nation several years.

Then what was the goalie from Illinois that played for Bud's team, and also on the WC East team that played in the AAA Flyers Cup playoffs in 2004?

Also, Malvern had Andreas Wochtl, a defenseman from Sweden, who was probably the best defenseman in this area for the 2 years he was here. He tryed out for the Pittsburgh Forge, and ended up at Malvern and played for Bud's team for a year, then aged out and played Jr B for the Little Flyers.

This doesnt sound highly false, and if you are familiar with the WC East program, you would know about this goalie, because Im not, and I know all about it.

why no respect for Strath Haven on this post? They haven't lost a game since opening night against Stoga.

I was just about to say that. People always complain about how Team A is never shown any respect. That's most likely because no one ever brings them up. Usually good teams have people posting stuff when their team wins, posting about how great that team is, but if that team loses you won't see a post from that person. There are a few exceptions for example Boraske and Mendell post on here weather their team loses or wins, and give pretty accurate account of their game. If you feel "your" team or some team isn't getting talked about, well talk about them!

On the topic of Strath Haven, they have a very impressive first line in Slagis, Florio, and Grossman. Keenan and O'brien are also very good D-men but really outside those 5 Haven is pretty weak. The 1st line wins all their games for them and their lack of depth might haunt them come flyers cup if they play a deeper team like PV, WC East or Henderson.

Yes I know Marshall I played against him at the college level. However you said it yourself for Buds team. The kid came to play AAA not exactly juniors. As for Andreas I played with him and he was a very good player. He actually made the 16 and under sweedish National team before he came over here. He was an exchange student which is a completely different thing. Malvern has had a bunch of them like Igor back in the day haha.

HOWEVER NONE OF THESE APPLY TO THIS CONVERSTION THOUGH. Haha sorry for the dramatics just trying to gain attention. When both of these players played for there respected teams they where at the AAA level so they could do any recruiting they wanted.
