We are back for another exciting Flyers Cup Tournament. The pool is officially online and ready for your picks. Sorry, no prize yet this season aside from the free subscription to Breakaway Scholastic.

Go to Flyers Cup Pool and make your picks. Get them in soon, submissions close when the puck drops on the first game of the tournament.

Flyers Cup Pool Screen Names:
Folks, when joining the pool, please keep the screen names within the measures of good taste.
1) they must be G-rated
2) they must not insult, harass or degrade anyone

If I even give thought to whether I should delete it, it gets deleted and there are no exceptions.

Tick, tick, tick...
The tournament starts on Monday and we are currently at 117 entries. (118 if you count Matt's!) The high has been 124 in the past. Registration ends promptly at 7:00 PM on Monday night. Get your picks in before you run out of time!!!!

JB,

With all the games you see the only competition you should have is from Matt or Carl.

Well i heard i missed a good one on Friday.

Also I don't tend to make it North of Norristown much for games, so i never know what to make of Suburban and Lower Bucks league.

SM, I don't recall whether you have been in the pool or not but anyone who has played in the past will tell you that how many games a person sees means absolutely nothing. With that said, JB has been in this every year so far and like he said, he is usually near the top.

Ask Matt and myself how well seeing the teams works out. I see all of the Suburban and Eastern teams at least once and about 75% of the Lower Bucks and Inter-County teams every year and I think the best I have ever done might have been 5th. Matt will not die a happy man if he does not win the pool at least once.

Yes you were, but it wouldn't be Flyers Cup season if everyone wasn't busting your chops. Jigga has probably been the most consistent of the group that has been there from the start though. I do have the archives if I ever need to go back for some reason.

SM, no worries and I am not worked up about anything at all. Once the games start I will be doing the same. It's much more fun to bust Matt's chops though. It really does crush him when he doesn't recognize and pick an upset. He had to literally be talked off the roof after LaSalle dropped their Flyers Cup game last season.

12 hours and counting!
We have blown away the previous record for players this year with 156 registered so far. If you haven't made your picks, get them in now. Puck are scheduled to drop at Face-Off Circle and Iceline at 7:00 tonight and registration is closed when the first one hits the ice.

It sucks that I am losing Koolaid Drinker and tied with Karl Racki. I wouldn't mind losing to Matt, Rick, Jigga Beef or even McLovin, but Koolaid Drinker and Karl Racki! I guess it could be worse. I could lose to Carl Wood!
