Matt,
What role did Paul Gilligan play with Roman? I thought he was the assistant coach. Is he leaving there too?
As far as coaching changes go, Shanahan, D'town West and D'town East all will have new Varsity coaches next year. Not sure if any or all of them will be filled internally or from outside.

I'm excited about Hazelton taking over as my coach, sadly in every year since my freshmen year on varsity there has been a new coach, but he can finally instill some systems and game/pratice plan, don't be shocked if you see us make the FC

Lemieux66, Rago was Gilligan's longtime assistant. When Rago took the Roman Job, Gilligan came on as his assistant. I can only assume that Paul is leaving Roman as well, and I have heard that both are looking for Head Coaching jobs in HS hockey. Both Rago and Gilligan chime in on here, so I am sure we will hear directly from them soon enough.

Marc was let go by the AD. All parents got an extensive email letter explaining his thought process. Basically it was a "difference of coaching philosophies". There was no bashing or name calling or anything like that. Roman Catholic already has a new coaching staff in place for the varsity team. Both will be coaching in the spring league at the NE Skatezone. Not sure about the JV teams.

I heard Lansdale Catholic is taling to Marc Rago. He would be a great fit to rebuild the program at LC. They haven't been the same since DiDonato & Sheva were there when they won the SHSHL A divison.

Marc took CR South to the Flyers Cup championship in his second year, and turned a stuggling Roman team into a solid AAA contender this year. I know personally that Marc is a good coach, and I don't know why Roman would want to let him go, but I hope the best for him.

Roman let me go via email because in their words I failed to meet expectations. I wish I could eloborate but multiple attempts to contact board members who made this decision in an effort to get an explanation fell on deaf ears. I hope that the kids continue to have the kind of success that we had this past year. They are a great group of character kids and any coach that gets to coach them is a lucky one.
I am actively looking to continue coaching High School. It is also my understanding that Paul is content to continue coaching PSU Delco until the "right" job comes open.

I hate to nitpick but it was my first year at Rock that we went to the finals. It was the club's second year.

Marc has always been a class act on and off the bench. It's too bad that RC (I hate using Roman cause everytime I read it I think of that former CR thug Busetti) felt things weren't working out. Kind of sad they pulled the break up via e-mail; he deserves better than that.
Oh, and what is AllOrNothing thinking? Sheva was a sieve. His best move was to put the pads away.
