Rumors about GA not fielding a varsity program have been squashed.

Germantown Academy will indeed have a varsity program competing at the AAA level this year.

I caught up with Gump Whiteside and he was very pleased to announce, "The school has committed their support to me as long as I want to stay at GA, I am looking forward to working with the players and rebuilding the program."

good to hear they will be back. theyve had some great teams in the past and it would have been upsetting if they would have folded.

hopefully they will be competetive too. i know theyve lost some talent in the past 2 years, and it would be good for the program if they could bring in some high quality talent.
