Is he not playing with them? Their team looks to be very good on paper regardless. They have to be considered a frontrunner for the AA Flyers Cup, and if they do in fact add Varley it will only make them stronger.
Varley is not playing for NP nor does he have any intention of playing for NP. Their team should be competetive. It will come down to goaltending. Overall I think the Divison is weaker than last year. A lot of talent graduated. Look for CB East and CB South to be among the top teams.

WHO CARES? Average player at best. although If you ask the father, he will tell you the kids a NHL prospect. Whats the big deal? Is the team really going to suffer without him? (I don't think so) Is he really a big threat or impact player? No not really . So let this issue go.
gatesb. honestly, varley is REALLY good. I was priveldged enough to watch the 18uAAA nationals and saw the Minutemen play Shattuck Saint Mary's. I dont know if you are aware gatesb but Shattuck is the school Crosby went to for a year before juniors and had 5 NHL draft picks ( est.) this year. Varley was one of the few Minutemen that looked like they could and should play on the same ice as SSM. His patience is unmatched, especially around here.
if you still dont believe me, name one defensemen from High School hockey in Eastern PA that was betetr than Connor Varley last year.

I can name you at least a dozen that are better. The games I watched him play he is just a steady average defensmen. Takes a lot of bad penalties. Has a bad attitude on ice when he makes bad plays. (slams stick head down.) pouts alot, Not a team player, his decision making isn't the best and forces everything. (Not smart) I can go on and on. But that is just my opinion. glad he has a fan (Gregmartin.)

Best in area, not even close. If the kid is so good, (You Know what, I’m not going to get into it.) I don’t need to mention names. Forget it. You’re the expert. You and dad can keep wishing this kid to the NHL. Good Luck. I think he is just steady nothing great, not amazing and not the best in area. Just my opinion, Just my opinion. Good luck.
