I have played with Hazelton for about 2 years on club and against him every year I have played high school and he is one of the best. Granted his #s weren't great this year but it is only a few games that he did not play well in, not to mention his D was not as strong this year as it was in recent years. Hazelton plays best when he is constantly peppered with shots as prob. any goalie, but the problem was this year was that his team was so offensive, that he rarley got over 15-20 shots a game. For example, in the game Sunday, Hazelnut was making saves that would go by any avg. goalie, but when you're D is having trouble clearning the rebs. or the front of the net, you arent going to stop every shot ask any goalie. I am not being bias here, but for Ridley, had Boraske had a strong offensive core in front of him, we would have won more games, because we had about 2 1/2 good defensemen and we were giving up 4-8 goals almost every game to teams that aren't that great. Goalies like Hazelnut and Borakse do not get enough credit because they do not have the best defensive core in front of them, excluding lowry and baker from HH
