first of all, you and your whole team is classless....2nd of all Boraske is one of the better goalies in the area, along with Hazelton. What I don't understand is why you are on this message board...You lost 7-2 and you and hkymom are complaining. From my understanding, HH was giving strong, clean checks and you stoga kids were getting offended because they are a much better team. #22 clearly took Baker's legs out with a chep shot after a goal! how is that a clean hip check. HH has 2 dominate lines and a decent third line along with 4-5 strong D. Stoga has 2 players that can play (23 and 44) and they couldn't beat Hazelton. I also heard from numerous people not from HH that the PARENTS were telling the HH players that they sucked and they were chep shots when none of that is true, unless someone hurts one of there players and then cheers about it? Stoga, your fans are classless and so is every other schools, when they are losing. You don't even know classless, come to a Ridley/Interboro Thanksgiving game. It is all in the fun of the sport, we don't what the PIAA to take it over. It is fun being a player and hearing the chants, it makes it fun, Learn do deal with it or don't play or in your case hkymom, just dont come to the games. Its called rival schools and every big game in every sport has fans that act classless at some points. Good luck HH, go for the 3peat

Jason Hazelton 2 good games all year, the 2 AAA games, look at his other games, or actualy watch him play, he isnt a solid keeper. Stephen Boraske saw him play once, and never saw any tape on him, but he did play better then hazleton against us, so maybe 7 goals in less then 30 shots makes him a good goale, i really dont know.
where you there, it wasnt a dirty hit, they were calling all of the dirty stuff, imo, the game was filled with a lot of big solid checks, that being one of them.
#20 on stoga lead them in flyer's cup points not 23 or 44. vince (44) had 1 shot all game and rich (23) just came back the game before after being out for 6 weeks. I know its a team game, and the HH team shut down vince, but hazleton has gotten beat by vince before.
does this mean you wernt at the game? because if you were there you would know that wasnt true. |

to hkymom you just stated that you were not at the game and if that is the fact than you are basing your views strictly from the perspective of a team that got blown out in the flyers cup semi finals game, there is no doubt in my mind that your are completely ignorant to the fact that the conestogas team are not angels and the check on myself which i feel was a cheap shot was not only classless but unsportsmanlike, not to mention the celebrating as i lay on the ice. I am not writing in this stupid message board to get into a fight with a 40+ old woman who really should get a life and stop arguing with high-school students on a hockey message board, but i suggest that you get your facts from a non-biased source before you make false accusations with no backing in actual fact, just my opinion and have a good off season

I was the player who got hit, and i saw the hit on film the day after, i feel that it was definitely dirty and yes i was there, and even if you were able to make the argument that taking out someone's knee is not a dirty play than how could you possibly justify the players antics after the game, i realize that players get caught up in the game and i have been there but in no way does that justify an intentional attempt to take out someone's knee, which the player in question tried numerous times throughout the game, an in responding to your quote on our loss to you as being one of our biggest games of the year, you are stricly mistaken, I would have to argue that the games against ohara and other significant games such as the flyers cup semi final which you lost hazelton started off a little shaky but proved to be the great goalie he is, so anyway good game but 22 doesn't deserve to be on the same ice as haverford |

Pavelich, I will not justify my abilities for you on this message board, that's a waste of my time. But when you personally insult me, well, all I can say is have a look at the Ridley vs Stoga game from the 05-06 season and then come and talk to me. Yea, I was in net for that too. Hmm... you also appeared to have made fun of Baker for getting injured. I have to ask, how long until the you and your teammates start throwing snowballs at bus drivers? It seems you're but a step away... Seriously though, the squabbling needs to stop. What's the point? I'm not blaming anyone in this topic, but the discussion here as deteriorated to such a point that if there's a way for the topic creator to close the topic so no one else can reply, you might as well do that. Wow,
Cheering when any player is hurt goes far beyond a classless act. My words could not properly describe how classless. Unfortunately by this thread the decline for respect in this sport seems to be acceptable to most. I do not want to see anyone hurt or killed as the father a few years back in a fight with his sons coach while his child looked on. I am sure they thought as we all do that it will not happen to us/them. Yes, the crowd gets into the game but what happens when they lose control? Tempers flare in a game but when control is lost who will stop the inevitdable? Maybe the problem lies that ALL rinks need to double security when a game is a sellout/big game. Any fan cheering an injured player should be thrown out, PERIOD Best of luck HH ...threepeat!! Baker I hope the knee is ok to play You should be on the ice with your team. Intent on a player should be immediate ejection by ref. No exceptions!!! I did not see it. But there are enough of you that feel it was not clean I believe that.I started watching this board to keep an eye on my son. More parents should obviously keep themselves involved with the kids. In the NHL game after game we see fans cheering fights, injuries etc... refs. letting players square off and fight..this is not a good role model for our youth. This message has been edited. i said one of, and i stand by that, you guys are the defending flyers cup champions, with one loss at the time playing an undefeated team that is in your AA bracket. If Rich didnt get hurt and have all his problems down the stretch and 'stoga would have finished stronger with only losses to malvern and penncrest i think we would have gotten #1 instead of you guys, since we both would have had 2 losses and we beat you heads up, so it wasnt you biggest game, but i never said that, it was one of your biggest games. |

Someone should write a book on this one...oh wait...one is already started...lol

I see by reading kids make light of the bus incident.
This was why I am so angry about it. Very long story short. Vacation...at the beach...Party nextdoor...Seems to be innocent fun...Kids around 20/21..Not a big party...Some beer involved..Water balloons etc..are being thrown...One is thrown two stories down street level...A car is hit...driver crashes flipping the car....What remains of an innocent get together with some friends? Two lives forever changed...The boy probably prosecuted....The driver left in CRITICAL condition... But it was all in fun, right? I know teens are very stubborn about parents knowing anything about life but with age comes slightly more wisdom then you give your parents credit for. I am sure your parents have many more stories such as this lives changed from innocent fun. We would love to spare you some of lifes tragic lessons you and friends will encounter. I don't know the answer to this maybe Matt does would the PIAA help with what appears to be intent to injure a player? If so kids should want this in place, correct Matt. Yes or no. i agree with hockey mom. when the teams faced earlier in the season there was no trouble with securty because ice line has a better atmosphere. they built skatium next to a police station for a reason obviously.
conestoga without a doubt one of the top teams in the league. pavelich im down with the "hey goalie you suck" chant. stoga did win the first time the teams met and i give credit to hh for winning the last game. we can settle it next season. i love u pavelich |

Add Garnet Valley to the list of classless fans... In game at Ice Works vs Henderson they not only chanted you suck goalie early in the game but chanted F...U.... Henderson when it was apparent they would lose. I have never heard fans chant that at Ice Line or anywhere else for that matter! C'mon on there were plenty of kids & grandparents in attendance....Kudos to Ice Works Security for quickly escorting them out!

its been chanted at iceline, people just usually get thrown out for it, same as Ice Works

Hey Pavelich77 how is your off season going? If i can remember i believe that the two superstars on stoga were shut down by Hazelton.Hats off to your goalie for giving us a ride back to the flyers cup which we won again.

hhguy, everyone knows your team is amazing, you can stop bragging about it and theres no need for the trash talk. the true test for hazelton and how good he is will be next year when his team is not nearly as good. if he is as good as all of the HH kids make him out to be, then he will have great numbers next year(cuz they werent that great this year) with a much worse team. but i guess were going to have to wait a bit to see.
also, just because the team wins does not mean the goalie is good, when your offense puts up 5,6,7 goals each night, its not that hard to win a game in net. record isnt everything! |
